Brother Szovi, Magyarorszag has the greatest ever dog, the vizsla, we had the greatest ever/most successful top-tier racehorse of all time, Kincsem. We practically founded old Hollywood.

Perhaps what you may or may not know about is underrated or you may not know a grand deal and not know close to everything.

All is good, its glorious summer again, peace reigns in Europe, love, beauty, fun and excitement is in the air, have a great time.

Major, my fav dog is the Kuvasz, had some nice childhood memories with them

anyway, will go to the wonderful island of Madeira in october, for hiking, good food and wine and also, to see the grave of our last king, Habsburgi Károly and the supposed grave of king Ulászló whom you just mentioned in some of your previous posts. it's quite questionable, but legend says he might have ended up there incognito in 15th century and his remainings rest in some small old church on the southwest coast. will check.

Major, godaddy hosting opening up.in Bentexico!
Right next to where Morti plays foci!

I might be able to get you a good deal.

Ps, I never mentioned this before. I once received a enormous bill for bandwidth. Bentex TV had around 120,000 viewers. The site was dowm... I called them up about it. I got throught to an entrepreneur! He said he'll wipe off the debt if you sign up for 2 years housting. He did :) I've kept this story quiet for 10 years. :)

Hasn't Bohóc ruined the island of Madeira, making it considerably less wonderful?

I'm more of a macskás kind of dude, but my fav dog is def German, dachshund. Favorite magyar dog certainly the komondor:D

Brother Szovi, the history of Magyarorszag from the very beginning to 1526 was pure 'magic'.

The greatest ever annals of that history was in the 1400s, it was an stupendous spectacular epic full of love, intrigue, war, dynastic complications, crushingly successful crusades, crushing loss at Varna 1444, miraculous world-shaking triumphs, loss of Constantinople (the 2nd Rome), the meteoric rise of Hunyadi, the civil war from 1437-1441, the unbelievable theft of St. Stephen's Crown by the court lady-in-waiting secret agent Illona Kottaner who smuggled it out to the Empire, the actions in Transylvania in 1442 and the most incredible crusade of all-time, the Long Campaign of 1443-1444, Hunyadi's Regency, Nandorfehever 1456, Vlad Tepes (Dracula), Skanderbeg of Albania, and that's just for starters, then you have his son come into the national limelight as one of the greatest ever sovereigns in Europe.

If you want to recapture Hungary's old magic and let the perfume of history and pride and zest fill your soul and heart, go to Eger, drink Egri Bikaver (which I believe is a real national robust wine), take a grand tour of the Puszta and see our glorious wonderful animals in flocks (you'll see the genetic magic of the land) and go to Nagyvazsony (Paul Kinizsi's old castle) and have at the local restaurant fried liver sauteed with onions with seasoned potato dumplings, tomato salad with sweet vinegar, and at that csarda eat like a king because Nagyvazsony is for real locals and real Magyars. That is the Magyar high life. :)

I've lived the high life in Magyarorszag in the 1980s, we went to almost ever castle and I pretended to be the castle captain, my dad loved it, I loved the Balaton in the 1980s, the local village arts and crafts, you should have seen it.

Brother Bentex, hook me up if you can with Goodaddy, I'm going to need it in Nov. and I heard the service is terrific. What happened to Bentex TV, it's offline now?

fortunately, Bohóc left Madeira at a very young age, so it is probably wonderful again. the fact that the airport is called Bóhoc Reptér is a bit of a drawback though, and that there's a Bohóc Múzeum even :howler:

the Komondor :proud: awesome kutya too

Portugal's history in the 1400s is even more amazing.

anyway, I know that Nagyvazsony very well. been there as a kid and of course at the Balaton (Füred and Tihany to be precise, so not far) every year on summer vacation, in the 1970s and 1980s. we may have even met :D btw, a good friend of my family was the manager of the Várcsárda at one point. circa 1978-80 iirc.

Exactly what was thinking... Reptér, Múzeum + szobor. Douchey spirit must still be there:thumbsdown:

the Komondor :proud: awesome kutya too
:thumbsup:proof God has a sense of humor:D

The komodor is a great, great dog, second only to the supremely athletic and statuesque vizsla.

You know Szovi big metro Berlin can only go so far as self-fulfillment and self-realization goes that's probably why you may have a screw loose sometimes with your rants. Get back your soul, only way to do that is to re-connect with Nature and your roots in Hungary if you have any there. I mean aren't you an Isreali cabbie with a mean streak towards Cristiano Ronaldo (probably a top #5 player in history)? Berlin will eat your soul eventually if you don't re-connect with natural, holistic traditional culture that you say you're connected with.

don‘t worry about my soul and connect with nature and Hungary, dear Major

big metro Berlin has a lot of the former and I am a lot in the latter

as for screws loose, aren‘t we all on this forum because of that?

Trust me, IT IS the Internet Szovi that has you and all of us with a screw loose. The 'Net' is a massive time-robber, a soul-eater, a roboticizer, a virtual machine-maker, a prodigious dis-enchanter, a divider of people from other people, a social destabilizer, a suppressor of people's time and their physical actions via technology, it is an immobilizer, a spy-gate worldwide web, it's a dragnet, it's a facade and front for invasion of privacy and worse, it is a tool by the state and foreign states to peer deep inside people's minds and habits to categorize them, classify them, to compartmentalize them. IT IS Big Brother itself cleverly disguised, it is a tracker, it is a total front and cannot be 100% trusted.

That's why people are leaving the Internet even here on this lobby. That is why XT is slowly on its way out. I'm planning to leave totally next year in 2020 to get my life back. My life started to slowly plummet to new depths in terms of quality of life once I got the Internet in 2000. My life was beginning to prosper and blossom before I got the 'Net', by 2005 it was totally f*cked.

I agree with you partially. the internet as such can be quite a useful tool, if you handle it with gloves on. I for one am almost only on XT and magyarfoci related news sides and the portuguese airlines TAP. the real big brother thing is the faszbuk, gugl, tshitter, dumbphones, apps of all kind, which I hardly ever use at all. my wife is even better, she has none of these things, not even email adress :proud: I admit, I had a couple of screws loose long before my first encounter with the internet :D

 The internet is an incredible tool (dare I say even source of entertainment..which is ok at times), meanwhile being the biggest waste of time imaginable. Faszbuk probably being the best example, which goes a far sketchier step. As with just about all tech, it's about how you use it.

Even if you're not here, gotta have more than a couple of screws loose to care about magyar foci these days. Those on csakfoci and nemzeti sport are no saner than we are.

the internet scares me less than the robotization of our daily lives, with silly tools like siri or navigation systems and what not, with which we lose much of our human skills

plus, looks all like HAL-3000 in the making, my man Stanley K saw it all coming :scared:

Yesterday my BFF went live driving into Hegyeshalom. I think that's pretty cool that you can
go live wherever and whenever.

Everyone else watching his fb live were asking was ist das? Why you filming this? Hahaha. It was so phunny. I told them it was Hegyeshalom but they didn't get it.

Then I tell him to check out the bird statue... 30 mins later I get a live photo!

If you don't like it, get rid! Nobody is forcing you to use it.

I would love to have had satnav back in ungarn with my Farter. The dude couldn't read a map. To save his life. But he couldn't humble himself to let mr read and give him instructions.

Yeah, not a fan of the robotization either. No Siri or Alexa for me, no thanks.

Exactly:thumbsup: If you think Faszbuk or Twitter sucks, don't use it.

Talking positives, you're not wrong. GPS is both good and bad rolled into one. Very useful, although it surely does get Big Brothery at the same time.

One of my favorite examples is when would go to Hungary as a kid for most of the summer. I'd bring a huge bag of cds, now can have every song in my pocket. That still blows me away to this day.

that's what I was saying (or trying to say), that you can get some positives out of it, but looking at many youths (and also my generation and older, even my mom lol) they are addicted to all that stuff, many of them losing human skills, reading a map or general orientation skills being only one of them. worst is when you sit in the metro and everyone around you is staring at his dumbphone, or in a restaurant, table next to you a group of people don't even talk, but stare at their HAL-3000 reloaded, waiting for it telling them what to do. :D

I don't use twitter, but faszbook, although quite rarely, mostly only when I travel around cool places like Macau, Goa, Africa, Portugal countryside and churches and post pics thereof, or when I see a cool concert coming up, sharing it. that's pretty much it. otherwise, internet for me is XT, drukkerkocsma, csakfoci, nso, nb1 and the likes or download music I wouldn't get otherwise, but even this (the music thing) has become rarer lately. I rather spend idle time with my family and travel and eat good food or be in the nature.

A Space Odyssey by Kubrick was an absolute true tour de force masterpiece way ahead of its time. Imagine it was just 1968. Kubrick was the definition of a real visionary if there was ever one.

You guys want some secrets?

Secret #1. What causes cancer, the #2 killer globally?

It is simply hidden by every government and state, it's not just a genetic predisposition or tobacco or alcohol use, but it's in plain sight. It is the very fact that in every city, every community, every town, every country, it's the carbon monoxide in the exhaust from the fossil fuels that cars burn every day. It's that simple. The human body is not meant for gradual carbon monoxide poisoning, but they never ever tell the truth on this one. So what does all governments do? They interject micro medicines in the food supply in the form of "food preservatives" to ward off the evil effects of cancer in the body for as long as possible because every government knows the real cause of cancer is spent fossil fuel exhaust from every car . Again, they never tell the truth on this one. "Food preservatives" are secret micro medications to 'preserve' the human body's integrity from the onset of cancer, its a 50 year old temporary bandage really.

But when a person reaches his mid-50s-60-70s and is not a productive contributing worker in the labor force, cancer eventually takes off to knock people off to preserve expensive state social security budgets, its an evil cycle. They obviously do not want to go off fossil fuels for economic and social security reasons.

I'll get into more Secrets later, but my biggest issue with the Internet is simply the inhuman cold technology information overload of images, data, text, moving pictures, endless reams of good, bad, useful, dis-information and information, propaganda, twisted half-truths and any concoction that the human mind is capable of. No doubt the Internet is the greatest invention ever next to electricity, the car, the telephone, the TV, radio, the plane, ect....extra-terrestrials (I mean real extra-terresterials) vastly accelerated human progress in the 20th century, and that progress is zooming very fast, a sort of separating the wheat from the chaff in humanity. It is not just the old deal between the 'haves' and 'have-nots' it really is between who that can climb and hold on and survive and those that get left behind.

About extra-terrestrials, I have a really big Secret, they are truly among us,...they penetrated the human genome and DNA tens of thousands of years ago (when they knocked off the primitive CroMagnon Man and kept Neanderthal Man as a genetic test bed), and people are still 'evolving' towards a higher plane genetically speaking.

Well said szövikám, especially that last part:thumbsup: It's really that straight up addiction/mind control that is scary to me. A friend of mine can barely carry on a one on one conversation or watch a movie cuz so brainwashed by faszbuk, on comp or dumbphone, doesn't matter. Don't use any of that stuff, except have a fake faszbook without real name if need to sign in to see something (usually art or music related...no pics of hipsters or food:thumbsdown:). Has nothing on it except one video:D..
