Ronaldo or Adriano?

OK It´s maybe a stupid thread cause I don´t like either this kind of comparations, but what I want to say is that we are always seeing how Ronaldo is called "the best striker in the world" and others are forgotten. Others like this Adriano.

When Ronaldo played in FC Barcelona, he was incredible. He was unstoppable. He took the ball, and he was able to dribble the opponents from midfield to the goal. Now, Ronaldo is an opportunist player. His goals are (90%) pushing the ball to the net from 5-10 metres. Adriano is much more complete. He´s dangerous from far distance, he plays for the others as well, and he scores a lot of goals.

So we should to start to diferenciate among the opportunist strikers (some of them terribly goods, like Ronaldo) and the complete strikers (like Adriano).

there's only one (ronaldo),he proved him self many times club level or national wise.(Rolando)is living legend,if you want to compare someone to (ronaldo)then compare him only the greatest ever(mardona)or (pele).now, Adriano is talnted guy ,but still needs to achieve what the (pheonmano)achieved.ciao

RONALDO by far. Ronaldo is in the same league as Di Stefano, Pele, Cruyff, and Maradona.

compare Adriano with the likes of Henry if you want!

I simply think Adriano is a goal-machine, and he will eventually be the best in the world. I have said this for two years now, and stick by it.

I think they are both world-class strikers.

There was a time when I was laughed at for suggesting Adriano is more effective than Ruud and Raul, Now we are talking about if he is the 1, 2 or 3 in the world

It was evident from the first time I watched him when on-loan at Fiorentina that he was going to be something special, you just can't shoot that powerful, whilst being so accurate.

I hoped all summer that Parma would sign him, and somehow we did, (Baraldi must of heard my thinking),

. Since then, he has grown, and grown, and will continue to grow.

Ronaldo is Adriano's idol, and it must be like a dream playing next to him, so any kind of comparison to Ronaldo, must make Adriano feel extremely happy.

Ronaldo, easily. Adriano is not complete (neither Ronaldo is), but Ronaldo have better control with the ball, far from the area he is more able to do something than Adriano, his finishing is only worst to Adriano in the heading area.

Obviously some will point to Ronaldo's big carrier and say the two shouldn't be compared. And they'll have a point.

But I would definately choose Adriano for my team today.

If I had to chose one player to join Milan for Sunday match against Bologna:
Adriano, though Ronaldo is right now stilll the best striker in the world.
If Adriano plays like he is now for the whole season, he is the best.

Right now Adriano. I've seen him play a couple times now and he is amazing! Ronaldo had only 1 world-class season and that was at Barcelona.

I am glad both of these amazing strikers are brazilian. But Ronaldo is better. I don't think there is a single brazilian in this forum who thinks Adriano is better.

I did not say our opinion is final. I just said that brazilians think Ronaldo is better.
