Form Guide: Inter (W W D W W) Milan (L L W W L)

Last season: Inter 2-2 Milan

Stat fact: Inter have not won the derby since a 1-0 result in September 2015, managing a defeat and two 2-2 draws. The last time Milan won the ‘away’ derby was 1-0 in November 2010, followed by three stalemates and three losses. The most goals scored in this fixture was back in 1949 with an incredible Inter 6-5 Milan.

Top tip: It is worth looking at goals scored after the 90th minute. In the two 2-2 draws last term Ivan Perisic (92nd) and Cristian Zapata (97th) equalised with late goals for Inter and Milan, the Croat in the first and the Colombian in the latter.

Inter (probable): Handanovic; D’Ambrosio, Skriniar, Miranda, Nagatomo; Vecino, Borja Valero; Candreva, Joao Mario, Perisic, Icardi

Suspended: None

Milan (probable): G Donnarumma; Musacchio, Bonucci, Romagnoli; Borini, Kessie, Biglia, Bonaventura, Rodriguez; Suso, Kalinic

Suspended: Calhanoglu
Come at us bruh!

I really hope Inter goes for the jugular here. The defense looks stable. The team just needs to find an extra gear in the offensive transition as it's too isolated and predictable at times. I'm going to guess 1-0 to Inter here with Mr. Derby, Perisic settling the score.

I'd like to see Dalbert from the beginning here even though knowing Spalletti he'll probably opt for experience and someone who's played in the derby.

My preferred 11:

Handanovic, D'Ambrosio, Skriniar, Miranda, Dalbert, Vecino, Valero, Candreva, Joao Mario, Perisic, Icardi.

If not Joao Mario, then bring on Brozovic!

Again, we have no very strong points according to the infopic Nacka ripped off. We did have very strong points earlier in the season.

It shows that slowly but surely, they're losing faith in us. :D

Dalbert is great defensively but perhaps Spalletti feels that the occasion might be too much for him right now. On the other hand, no amount of fvck-ups will shake Naga's confidence.

Borini wingback against Perisic, I doubt Montella does this.

Suso always does well against us so we must give him more attention.

Tough game, weaker teams than Milan have given us problems this season and they will be looking to bounce back in a big game having failed in other big games this season.

I hope Joao Mario is getting intensive training on his finishing prior to this game. 2 chances squandered this season, one of them costly (at Bologna when the score was 0-0)

Nagatomo has been alright this season so far, I am ok with him starting. Make Dalbert work more to win a place. You don't get a guaranteed spot because you cost 20mill.

I don't care if we keep grinding out results for the time being. A win tomorrow means that we could be happy with a draw against Napoli the following game week.

Hopefully against a team who is willing to attack us, we can find more space for the guys upfront. Perisic and Icardi to score would be great for us

I am rather annoyed at Brazil coach Tete. Your team already made it to the WC, why the feck do you use Miranda - over 30 - for 2 full friendly/dead rubber matches? Surely Brazil have other CBs waiting in line for a chance as an experiment?

We have defended poorly in the last few derbies btw.

I watched Napoli beat Roma last night and they are on another planet entirely. It will surely end up being a case of keeping the score down. Vecino-Joao Mario-Valero will be overrun.

The result tonight entirely depends on whether Montella gets his tactics right. If he botches up the tactical battle Inter will surely win.

This game is all out desire ( as is always the case with derbies). Spallo needs to get the boys up for this and no complacency after going as what happened last time.

Milan will be up for it as its one of the last chances to save montella's bacon.

Joao Mario not starting or even on the bench. Must be injured. Unlucky to lose 2 midfielders for this match. Hopefully the trio who start tonight play well and stay fit.

Icardi has not scored from open play in the last FIVE matches (since the win at Roma)

Perisic has not scored or assisted in the last 3 matches

Improvement required.

I wonder if we'll see Valero in the AM role or if we'll play three CMs.

Yeah I should've said we would be more than happy with a 4 points out of these 2 games to be honest. The derby I can see us doing ok but if we take anything from this Napoli would be fantastic.

Anyeay one game at a time.

FORZA INTER!

Candreva with his shitty, inaccurate, mistimed crosses.
