Expected to miss the Ipswich game but shouldn't be long term. I'm fairly confident Hughes won't leave in this transfer window.

Hughes should be a Watford player when he comes back from the under 21 euros.

There's 2 fees coming out about this move so far, sky sports says it's £4.5 rising to £7 million, which in today's market for a young English player would be shocking business from Derby.

A couple of other sources more closely linked with Derby say it's £8 rising to £10 million, which I could live with.

It's time for Hughes to move on I'm affraid, his injury didn't help, but he's stagnated a bit, and it's time to go to the premier league which should suit his game more than the championship. It will be sad to see him go, but he remained loyal along time when so much interest has been on him.

Officially sold to Watford for an undisclosed fee plus sell on clause.

When I've finished crying I'll try and found out the details.

£5 million rising to £9 million, with a 15% sell on clause. If we get the full 9 and then a decent sell on sum in a year or 2 that won't be so bad.

Listening to Rowetts latest interview, the driving force behind the sale was Will wanting to leave. I don't blame him, we've had 4 years to get promoted, and you can't expect him to wait forever.

Glen Whelan looks likely to come in from Stoke, Irvine being linked as well so still think at least one more midfielder will leave, possibly Bryson and/or Johnson.
