Just like Loose Moose sad Ashley played on all position on the left side before.
He's the superb sub for Silvinho.
They both have a fabulous techniuge and are very fast and dont ming going up on the field.
If Silvinho would never have comed to our club I wouldn't have been surprised if it was Cole that would have been Winterburn's succedor.

Ashley Cole is a talented young player with great potential. His ideal position is left flanker back. There is, however, still much room for improvement.
He is very good on the overlap going forward, but looks a little dodgy in defence. He has a tendency to get caught on the wrong side of the opponent which occasionally forces him into making wild tackles.
There is no doubt his future looks most promising and it is likely that some day he will represent England in the left full back position!!!!!
