I know it's off-season, and the interest is low, but in true footy cliche`, there is still plenty to be optimistic about.
Xtratime Football Club is proud to announce several key changes which will be a step forward for the 2004 XT season. An overhaul of the footballing department has taken place, starting right from the top. Club directors COUTO5 and Tigertuff have stepped down from their position, but hopefully will remain on the board in some capacity. King Italy will remain as CEO, while The Shev and Doc_Rule have been elected on to the board. We thank COUTO5 and Tigertuff for their time on the board.
In the financial department, XT signed a great sponsership deal a few months ago which will secure the future of this organisation. This is certainly a significant deal because it allows us a stable and secure future.
On the field, XT hopes to attract some top class players to improve the team. They are hoping that West Australian King of the Kop will continue at the club next season, after some brief appearances in 2003. Victorian CUG is expected to sign a new deal which will keep him at the club for a further 3 season. The board has been very impressed with his 2003 perfomances and hope that he can go a step higher next season. XT are hoping that Perth boy Alarich will be able to have a full pre-season in hope for a big 2004. His presence to the team is invaluable, but an injury late in the year cost the team dearly. Underrated Melbourne player Schumy will continue to have a positive influence and input on the team. The board has been very happy with his performances, as he always gives 100%. Youngsters yohy and Terak have been offered a new deal and the club hopes that they will accept and play in 2004. Captain King Italy will remain, along with The Shev and it is hoped that veterans COUTO5 and Tigertuff can continue at the club. South Australian dyertribe has been out injured and it is unknown as to whether he will play another year at XT.
