You make a good point about Rio and so on, but I think the real message here is these footballers don't even need "a bit of tact and sweet talk" to get the hottest girls on earth. And that is what makes me jealous as my sweettalk merely gets me friends and I am totally lacking in the tact department. Maybe I should drink a little more french wine.

As for the subject at hand, it really is no suprise that the rich athletes pair up with the hot models ( can only speak here from what you all are saying, I wouldn't know a hot model if she and her assistant pushed me out of the way at the Gucchi sale rack at Saks). Just like animals pair up with those of their species, so do young men with money pair up with their chosen mates. Giraffes go with giraffes. Lions with lions. Soccer players with models. Baseball players with Hooter's waitresses. Rock stars with actress/model/dancer types. Hugh Heffner with those six blondes. It is the way of nature. Or do you think that the horrible Mick Marrs of Motley Crue would have rated the lingerie model he squires around if he was pumping gas in Tuscon...
