Oh come on... why is it that when someone questions something to do with Liverpool the only response a scouser can come with is "we're better than you" or "we've won more than you".

Fact is jack, the only NUFC player I voted for in this poll was Shearer - unlike the procession of twats who voted for players from their club even though they're CLEARLY not the best in the Premiership in their positions.

Berkovic? Erm... Scholes anyone?

Riise? What can he do except grow red hair and hit a ball?

Babbel? When's the last time he even played?!!!

Dudek? There are a handful of keepers in the Premiership better than him.

Is this really the best team the Premiership can offer?. I don't think so. Although being formidable it is not the strongest and i think some people were clouded by their own biased opinion when selecting the best players for each position.

I agree Berkovic is crap.

Riise-What are you on about i wont even dignify that with an answer.Your the first person i have ever heard criticise him.Even the Mancs have praised him.

Babbel-Last night he scored the winner for the Reserves.It may be the reserves but he's exactly the same player but cant maintain his fitness and that will come.He was figuring earlier in the season when this poll was conducted.

Dudek-Handful ?At the start of the season and last season he was the best by a country mile.Since then it's gone down hill.I w ould rather Cudicini and Kirkland more than him thats all.The poll was at the start of the season when he had carried his great form on since last season but we all know whats happened to that form.

Please show evidence of scousers doing what you stated they do when there players are criticised.Go in the Liverpool forum and you'll find that half of the Liverpool supporters in there are quite critical on the players besides the quality few.And some of those few are mentioned above.Liverpool supporters are fair so dont take a swipe at them.

Yes. Handful. Cudicini, Barthez, Van Der Saar, Friedel and Given. And before you belittle Shay he did win the number 1 shirt in the PFA Team of the Year last season if you want to talk about "last season."

Nah mate, largely just you. I was making my comment based on a neutral perspective - hence my inclusion of Berkovic in my mini list and the fact I left Hyypia out - yet you had to make a sarcastic comment in regard to NUFC players...

Pants ?.I cant believe your saying this.I dont think he's the best LB in the Prem and i havent said this but i have been defending because he is one of and close to the best but it's just like playing Giggs at LB every week because,Riise is a LW.

That's absolute bollocks. In this case I was speaking from a neutral standpoint and I'm not anti-Liverpool at all.

In the beginning of our conversation on the LFC forum I made comments - from a neutral opinion - regarding Liverpool's attractiveness and ability to sign big name players at the minute... You disagreed and then made disparaging comments about NUFC... that's where it began.

Your sarcastic and uncalled for post regarding Griff, Shay and Bernard was simply petty and had nothing to do with proceedings at hand. I listed Berkovic... I must hate Man City then?

PS: Don't be so ridiculous as to confuse criticism and a neutral point of view for "hating Liverpool". The only club I 'hate' is Sunderland... I don't mind your lot at all.

But I do get riled when someone takes an honest opinion of a clubs fortunes and instead of responding with their point of view, starts p1ssing on that person's club.
