Hehe :D Dream on Beachy...
When there is 6 players form United in the eglish team there is something wrong!
You can allways imagine but that wont happen as there is alot other guys that rather should play.
But if Giggs would have been english offcourse he would play in the national team.
Didn't Kewell had the same "picking team" problem as Giggs?

nah not with kewell..i guess he coulda played for england, but i think aussies asked him to play when he was still a nobody with leeds, hes been with them since he was like 16 and he played all under 18's and youth for aussies and that!

I agree with u Beechy, yr dream may come through if one day the problem solve and they decide to form a national squard call the Great Britian Team. So wales players can join england. As for kewell , he is damn good but he need to try 100 then score 30 time most of the time is passing to other to score. Cheers for our dream to come the Great Britian Team.

Here is how i see the team. Mine differs abit. Obvisoulsy under the original thread by the thread starter.



1. Barthez - Great player , will stay for a 4-5 years.
Good keeper, rated great coz of his national team rather than natural skill.

17. Van Der Gouw - Good keeper a great sub to barti.
1 word for him- pathetic

2. G.Neville - The best right defender in the premiership.
Good right back- makes Beckham look good coz Becks doesn't defend and Neville does the hard work for Becks.

3. Irwin - Good defeder, but will quit in a year.
yeah, ok...he's finished now though

6. Stam - The most expencive defender in the world , anything else?
He is a good defender, but not as good as Thuram, Nesta, Cannavaro etc...makes more mistakes than those just mentioned.

7. Beckham- The best free-kick taker in the world & the best right-winger.
Not the best free kick taker in world or best right winger either. Best free kicker is Sinisa Milyhlovic (can't speel it) and the best right winger is FIGO, Becks is nowhere near him.


18. Scholes - A great midfielder & young too.
Top player, enough said.

16. Kenae - The heart of the united. wants to end his career in the old trafford.
Same as Scholes for me.

11. Giggs - The welshman is the greatest left-winger in the premiership.
Love Giggs, he has skill but tends to always go to his left, very predictable now.

25. Fortune - A great signing I like him a lot!!!
Yeah, he is alright for the bench.

9. Cole - Will help us a lot this year...
Good striker, always scores

19. Yorke - i dont like him for his problems ( T&T v MU )
Not good at all, shows nothing.

20. Solskjaer - The baby face striker saved our asses for a long time ! He will stay for about 4 years.
Why he doesn't get a regular game i still don't know.

27. Silvestre - A young defender who wll be a great one some day!
Shocking, pathetic...showed this at Inter.

5 . Johnsen - Good defender But getting old!
I like him a lot, but injuries are hurting him too much now.


So that's my opinion on the team.

Sorry, i just read the other posts. Nick54, don't worry about what these Man U fans say, they wish they could have the success of Juve. They wish they could have the players as well, hahaha. Someone mentioned that Giigs is valued at the same as Zidane and Figo, yeah name the team which is offering that for him....please, don't make stupid comments. Most players in Man U are good in England but will struggle to get a game at top clubs like Real, Juve, Barca, Lazio etc... come on, I couldn't see Scholes get a game at Juve, who would he take out? Zidane? Davids? or Veron at Lazio? or Rivaldo? Raul? see what i mean. Man U are not good anymore, you will see this season.

CUG: youre an absolute ********, the opnly reason scholes wouldnt make juve is cos they have zidane and davids. Why else did both inter and Milan put in huge bids in for him, in excess of 30 million pounds.

Keane was wanted by Juve and in return were prepared to give up davids, this is fact!!! they wanted Keane that badly.

Who out of the united side wouldnt make it in italy? giggs, beckham, scholes, keane, cole and staam would walk into ANY side in europe.....And former players like ince, cantona, pallister, robson, mclair, huges were wanted by every side as well in their day..

U italian fans come in here acting like u know everything and say that italy is the big thing...The only reason some players in the Seria A are ther is cos their italians...truly!! and i dont care if the legend thinks this is derogatory, i couldnt give a ****!!!

Show some of he man utd players some ****ing respect!!!

Well, first i will answer Beckham. Where would Juve finish in the EPL? I wonder, i mean if Man U find it so easy to win it, i'm sure Juve could the same. Actually, the only games which might be abit competitive would be when they play Man U and maybe Arsenal. All the rest of the games would see Juve's youth playing and winning. And we come close to winning it in the hardest league in the world, Serie A, where there is competition. And i think it was u who said that Juve wished they had Man U's history. Well, u must be a f*cking fool, whatever Man U have won, Juve has won as well. Except we have won more. CL's 2 each, UFEA's, Juve has 3 and Man U 0. Championships, Juve has a whopping 25 and Man U has 15 or something, but its less. Coppa Italia Juve has 10 or so and Man U might have around the same, maybe more. Toyota Cups, Juve has 2 and Man U 1. Soppa Cups etc...Juve still has more, need i say more about history. I think we have more history and more success. Now, Beechy, the man who i think he called me d*ckhead said that Scholes etc...would walk into any team in Europe. Yeah, Cole would get a game at Juve, Lazio, Barcalona, Real Madrid, Roma and Inter. Easy, he'll take out the likes Crespo, Lopez, Del Piero, Inzaghi, Trezeguet, Vieri, Ronaldo, Recoba, Shevchenko, Batigol, Totti, Montella, Kluivert and Raul, no problems...for sure he'll do that!!!! and i'm the d*ckhead. Inter always puts high bids for everyone, Scholes would have gone to Inter but then stayed on bench like the other world class strikers and midfielders they have. Keane was wanted by Juve but Juve never offered Davids, it was Fergie who stated that Davids would have to be in the deal, once Moggi heard that, Keane was no longer wanted. Inter wanted him at that stage still but not Juve. And another classic statement was, "the only reason players in serie a get a game is coz they're italian", now that one there just proves that u have no knowledge about the game. Yeah, teams like Milan and Juve only play Maldini and Del Piero and co becuase they are italian, they have no skill and are hopeless but coz they are italian, they get a game. That's why most of the big clubs in Italy are packed with the best Italian players and the best foriegn players as well. Look at Lazio, Juve, Roma, Inter, Parma, Milan and Fiorentina, all teams who have both and they are genaerally the best in world. And i do show some respect to Man U players, i mean, they are good and i admit it but they are so overated its not funny. This is my opinion and a lot of others would agree and thats there opinion too.

CUG u know i didnt mean the top italian players....even though i think maldini is the ost over rated, unco and unconventioanl defender in the italian league..

Im talking bout some of these italian players that aint great but are getting the nod for selction instead of other players because they are italian and some italian clubs are too proud to put osme foreigners in...

Eg Viera was sold at 21 i think by milan, if it was a young italian midfielder like they have now with ambrosini they surely would not sell him..

this is what i meant...

Now something has been said, MALDINI OVERATED!!!
thats the funniest thing i have ever heard, please tell me you are both joking. If he is overated, there are no good players in the world and thats it. He was voted the best attacking defender ever in the history of the game and then was voted the best left back ever in the game. What more can he do to prove how good he is??? Mate, that comment topped it, after that, it proves whatever you two say is just wrong! Seriously, how can you call any player good then? everyone must be overated!

he WAS a good player, now hes slow, got a bad first touch, cant pass, tries to dribble and is out of position to often...i remember against holland overmars on the right tore him up...and he struggled against the turks.

He used to be my favourite defender when i was back in england watching seria A...and in the italian games he often played as a wingback....he was terrible

Maldini plays in some of best defenses in the world, Italy and Milan. what do you have to say about Italys defense in euro2000? nil conceded away against Barcelona? Yes, he is slower, but he is still an exellent passer, tackler and so on.

I would never want any other left back in Milan than him for very obvious reasons.

Of course you are entitled of your opinion, but IMO that statement made you look foolish.

I agree with JKris, just becasue a great player start to get slow it doesn't mean he's suddinly get bad!!!
I think Paulo Maldini and Tony Adams are just two examples of players that have got slower over the years but still are on the top!
