Rebic has to start instead of ilicevic. I think kranjcar in place of dudu. And lovren to cb with joe. Corluka bench. For me some crap play by him today

For NK things have now become concrete whereas before tonight's match they were abstract.
What I mean is he couldn't really criticise players or suggest changes in relation to the Stimac era.
Tonight he picked the team and now, in some ways, his job starts for real. He'll go through the game with the players and has three days to think very hard (with RK and his staff) about his options for the return. He's also seen Iceland play "live" which he hadn't been able to do before tonight.
Tuesday will be a completely different context. Iceland will play more or less the same way but it's also up to Maksimir to put the pressure on Iceland.
Does anyone have any idea how many tickets have been sold?

dude - povratna na 16 metara protiv bunkera. Reba 1v1 ; cut is back for raketa or kranjcar ( who by the way should have played today for 10-15 min)thats the plan

Things could get ugly at Maksimir if Croatia fail to qualify
With how our football always goes I can see us squeaking through.
This is a what if game, where we usually do well.
In games where we're expected to do well, like in Reykyavik (or Reagangrad, as I like to call it) we don't even score.

Saw enough positives today to give plenty of hope for Tuesday.
And it should only get better with the game being at home and Kovac having 3 full days to prep with the guys.
Iceland is a very well organized and hungry team... but i think our boys will match the hunger, adjust tactically, and talent will prevail in the end.

Rebic definitely starts, Vrsaljko instead of the invisible Srna and kovacic for Modric, as a matter of fact Niko bring in your U21 boys, they'll do the job vs Iceland just fine.

What are the positives
This team is a work in progress, i really didn't expect much from Kovac's first game with the team. If your looking for positives, then i will say that Perisic's game is coming around and Rebic is very strong with a good set of wheels on him and he can dribble with the ball. And the team felt more unified to me.
The long balls were really weird for me, like i did not get that at all. And we should stop sending in crosses because we suck at crosses. Lets just play the ball on the ground and go with that. To me having Eduardo, Mandzukic and Olic in there at one point just did not work. put Rebic in there instead of Dudu. As for Ilicevic, i sort of thought he would struggle a bit. He needs more game team, just has not played much at all this year. I still expect him to contribute going forward, i think when he is mentally ready out there we will receive a lot from his game. I have faith in his game!

The good news from the draw at least was none of our guys on cards got one and no one was injured...so we head into this one full strength...
If we can just get a quick goal....look for the floodgates to open and we will win comfortably....
But if we don't score early....panic is going to set in and I could see Iceland even scoring on some counter like Scotland and Georgia (in Split) did...and then we are screwed.
Dont know what to say...we blew a great opportunity yesterday. Pressure is on us now...Modric again s.hit the bed for us.
If it goes to penalties....we are out.
S.hitting bricks now waiting for Tuesday....win and we go to Brazil...lose and a loooooong wait until next September for Euro qualifiers to start...
If we don't go through, Modric and Mandzukic need to be shot. Zero leadership from these two...show a little heart, a little effort, a little something please. A once in a lifetime opportunity to play in a WC in Brazil is on the damn line, so wake the phuck up!!!!!
