I don't want to bash anyone, sorry if you feel offended.
BUt what does this transfer means to Italian football and Serie A in general??

Ronaldo is not the first player to have the IMMENSE desire to leave italy. Players are leaving Italy , something that was not seen before. 10 years ago it was the clubs who sent players away for better ones, now Zidane, Ronaldo, and others have left Italy for a better quality of life and to play a better football.

How are the italians feeling abuot all this?

Serie A is better off without small-hearted scumbags like Ronaldo.

His departure was a jump of quality as far as decency is concerned.
Inter and its fans didn't seem to mind when they acquired Ronaldo halfway through his contract in the same manner from Barca.

Ronaldo did not spend two years injured in Barcelona receiving full wages and countless amount of emotional support and faith in him. Without the love and affection Inter as a whole (president, fans and teammates) gave him during his hard times, I don't think Ronaldo would have ever returned. And what does he give them in return? A middlefinger and the behaviour of a spoiled 5 years old brat.

He is the lowest kind of money and fame s!ut that exists. I trully wish he has a career ending injury. It would serve the ungratefull bastard right. You just shouldn't be allowed to piss on the face of people who did nothing but good to him. He did not just bite the hand that feeded him, he cut it off and chew it sadistically.

Pointless topic that was made by a brazilian who wants to emphasise that RONALDO IS GREAT and that calcio is now something less withouth him

NEWSFLASH ZE, he hasnt been a part of calcio since the end 97/98 year...the rest of the time he was buys doing other stuff.

ZZ left cause he wanted a new challenge and his wife also wanted a move back to spain

veron had a big deal with his passport and left to avoid all the **** he was getting, and has since said a few time he wouldnt midn going back

besides we aquired rivaldo who was in my eyes the man of WC 02. not the buccktotthed prcik who tapped in sitters and took the glory

c'mon people is still a valid question
no need to get all mad just because Ronaldo left
and I doubt Ze meant to offend anybody, he was just pointing out that financial crisis and etc. might start to happen on italy(or at least i think he did) and calcio may be losing its credibility.
IMO, it is a valid question because I agree that the italian league is getting worse gradually.
just my 2 cents.

I think it's great. The less foreigners only interested to fatten their wallet the better! That's why I'm glad Crespo is gone from Lazio.

I'm upset, because of all the clubs he had to choose to wreck, he chose Real Madrid! :fero: Don't let me see that buck-toothed idiot, otherwise I'll give him a hearty kick in the groin (did someone mention career-ending injury? )

Think it's good for Serie A that he's left. But trust him to go back to Spain & ruin another Spanish club :rollani:

Ze,

Nobody really knows why Ronaldo left, right? People are just accusing and defending him based on some suppositions, but until we know the reason behind his departure, we can't draw any conclusions either about him or the state of Italian football.

Zidane's transfer was good both for Juve (who got more money than he - or anybody else at the time - was worth) and Zidane, who wanted a new challenge and maybe a better shot at winning the CL.

What it means to Serie A?

It means possible fights can be avoided between a Dutch and a Brazilian.

Real Madrid....where else can he go?...other than to sell himself to a club whose primary target is buying EXPENSIVE and LOUD. He may find himself without demand if he doesnt move immediately. .

Well, Ronaldo is just the 2nd player of Serie A having the immense pleasure to leave for REAL MADRID.
Real Madrid now is the team where every player would like to play.... just this.

I don't see other players of Serie A leaving for other team in Spain or for English teams.
Albertini went to Atletico just because he did not feel to be important for Milan and did not want to play in another Italian team (he is a "bandiera").
Maccarone went to England just because no Italian team was really interested in him (maybe it was a mistake).
Juventus kept all his players and could just lose Davids (going to Roma however), Inter just lost Ronaldo, Roma sold Assuncao to Betis but he was not so important and then Roma got Guardiola (Spanish!!), Milan bought many good players and just sold players they did not care to Atletico, Lazio sold just to Italian teams and the same did Parma.
So serie A just lost Zidane last year and Ronaldo this year.

Besides, being Brazilian, dear Zè, you should consider that Rivaldo left the Liga to join Milan. Is Rivaldo ****? I don't think so, he was one of the best players in the last WC.

I think that, as regards 1st level players, Serie A is just 2nd to Liga.
The fact that we had no good results in the last three years in CL is just a question of way of playing and luck.

The reason why Ronaldo left Inter!!!

The reason why IL FENOMENO left Inter, is simply because he was sick and tired and Dagoods means sick and tired of carrying those mediocres a$$clowns inter team mates of his on his back. Italian Footbal puts me to sleep. 10 guys defending and only one attacking!!! Who wouldn't want to get the hell out of serie a??? Zidane left, Veron, left, Ronaldo left, Rivaldo had no choice that is why he came to Italy. However, I am now a supporter of AC MILAN!!! FORZZZZZZAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA PAOLO "IL CAPITAN" MALDINI the greatest defender of all-time!!!

Priceless.

I'd be delighted if you could find some logical basis and explain to me just how can a player who has played about 10 games for three years or so be "sick and tired of carrying mediocres a$$clowns teammates on his back". Give it a shot, champ...

I have read many ridiculous comments on this board, but this definitely makes the top ten.

Rivaldo had an indian summer during the world cup, no mistaking it, but in the end, Milan were the only team willing to take a punt on the guy who was basically given the boot from Barcelona. Picking up an inconsistant 30 year old on a free transfer doesn't point to anything to get excited over.

NO Probelm !!!

When Ronaldo came back from injury last season- Who became their go to guy??? IL FENOMENO...VIeri became a no factor!!! After Ronaldo cameback for some reason Vieri was no where to be found.. El chino was no where to be found either...Furthermore Inter's Defense really SUCKED!!! Now how do you suppose Ronaldo felt??? when he cameback after 2 years, and the team basically put all the pressure all the load on his shoulders??? HOwever, Ronaldo is a true leader, because once he became fit, physicaly and mentaly stronger he led the world cup in socring didn't he? and he also gaver Brazil their fifth title right? Moreover he crowned himself the fifth king of soccer!!!

Arriverderchi!!!

Thing is, these "mediocre a$$clowns Inter teammates" were top of the table while Ronaldo was partying in Brazil. They carried him in their shoulders. Ronaldo is a great player so he is expected to be the go-to man. If not, what is the point having him? He'd be a liability.

You make no sense amigo. Oh, and it is spelled "arrivederci".
