Doctor suggested having a thread for sports other than football.

My favorite teams and athletes:
American Football, NFL: New York Giants
Baseball, MLB: New York Mets, RA Dickey
Basketball, NBA: New York Knicks
Hockey, NHL: New York Rangers, Carl Hagelin
Boxing: Mike Tyson, Bernard Hopkins, any Albanian boxer

I also watch a little tennis (just the grand slams). I guess if I had a favorite, it would be Federer.

Of course it does not have to be non-Albanian sports. I'm just not even sure if Albania has a baseball or hockey team.

NFL is the shit. It gets a bad rep around the world because ******* Americans love it so much, but I don't care. I have a blast watching the New York Giants.

Tbh, the only soccer I really watch is the Albanian NT. I've been trying to get into Liverpool FC because that's my brother's team, but I just cannot get into it.

UFC is a lame sport. A sport created for a bunch of skinheads.


I'm looking forward to it.

But Mayweather is going to win it. At this stage in his career, Mayweather is not going to take a fight he knows he can't win 100 out of 100 times.

I freaking hate the Celtics. I was very happy when the Knicks finally put the whooping on them though. :)

UFC is not a sport lol UFC is a company, MMA is the sport.


And how was it created by a bunch of skinheads? You know nothing about it. It was created 20 years ago by the Gracie family of Brazil (who are not even white rofl) to prove that Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a stronger martial art then boxing, wrestling, karate, etc.

Most of the Champions in the UFC are black (Jon jones, Anderson Silva, Ben Henderson, Jose Aldo) and yet you think only skinheads do this? Dude you need a reality check.


You probably don't know whats going on when you watch it, you have no clue on what Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is, I've been doing it for 2 years now, and it's the best sport/self defense you can get into, great workout too.

My mistake on the UFC/MMA error.

I'm not going to argue which one requires more skill because we can argue that for weeks.

White fighters cannot move up at all in boxing so they go to UFC. Even ******** down here don't watch boxing because it kills them that there are no good white boxers. So they watch UFC to make themselves feel better.

Mayweather probably will not fight Pac-Man or Bradley. If he fights Bradley, he might get screwed over like Pac-Man did (Pac-Man clearly won that fight).

I wish he fought Pac-Man. He might now since Marquez damaged Pac-Man up.

I hope Canelo can beat Mayweather, but I just cannot see Mayweather losing.

Maywather is a smart man.

As far as Mayweather is conserned, Canelo is going to put an ass whopping on him. Mayweather ducks everybody that has a chance of beating him, but this time he picked the wrong guy to fight.


Bradley would beat him too (he's fighting Marquez actually) and Pacman would clown that sucka, which is why Mayweather never took that fight.

Again, you're bringing race into a conversation that it doesn't belong in. I don't know where you live, in Alabama or Georgia, but a wide variety of people like MMA, not just skin heads. You got black and white champions in the UFC.


And when It comes to boxing, do you watch boxing that you say white people can't get anywhere in boxing?

The Klitschko brothers have dominated the heavyweight division for 10 years now, beating every black guy possible.


Joe Calzaghe retired undefeated at 46-0 and dominated the super middleweight and light heavyweight divisions while beating black guys such as Roy Jones, Bernard Hopkins, Sakio Bika, etc.




So no white boxers huh? LOL

Even if that were the case, that white people suck at boxing, so they get into MMA, what's wrong with that?

I guess black guys are good at boxing but suck at wrestling and jiu jitsu.


Race conversations into this = waste of time.

Im a fan of both, boxing and MMA, stop hating one over the other.

Klitschkos have been dominating. They are very skilled. But tbh, the HW division has been crap for over 10 years. 10 years ago someone like Dereck Chisora would never get a title fight.

Not many boxers out there trying to become HWs. They all go into football or basketball. HW division is dead, and has been for a long time.

Don't get me started on Cowardzaghe.

I really meant to say White Americans tbh. Not just white people in general.

Even so, look at the number 1 boxers for each division. Martinez, Matthysse, and Klitschko are the only ones up there.
