Thursday see's us welcome the Europa League holders Seville to the Petrvosky. Seville have a 2-1 first leg lead to take with them to Russia.

Early team news - We welcome back our captain Danny, Hulk and both our first choice full backs Smolynkov and Criscito to the team, all were suspended for last weeks match. We will be without Ryazantsev and Garay who are both suspended after picking up bookings in the first leg.

Expected line up

Lodygin
Criscito
Lombaerts
Neto
Smolynkov
Witsel
Garcia
Danny
Hulk
Shatov
Rondon

The match kicks off at 22:05 Russia time!

Anyone any news on any Seville suspensions or injuries?

Rondon had been awful as of late. Bukharov-esque really. If he stinks up the joint I hope AVB will sub him at halftime.

kerzhakov should had play 30 min at sevilha and 45 or all game in krasnodar but we all know him and Arshavin aredone for villas boas.

if ryazantsev was not susp villas boas would use hulk as striker.

now he doesn't have many options to put Rondon in the bench unless he tries rodic and criscito both in the left flank.

AVB could also play this line up

Lodygin
Criscito
Neto
Lombaerts
Anyukov
Witsel
Danny
Garcia
Smolynkov
Shatov
Hulk

Smolnykov playing in right midfield and Hulk up top.

The kick off time is far from ideal for us, 22:05, with a possibility of extra-time and penalties, we could be finishing at 01:00 am the next day!

Both French teams out of Europe, if we can get to the Final, Russia would over-take France in the European rankings.

Anyone got any team news on Seville?

Let's do this Zenit St Pete!

Actually it's now mathematically impossible to overtake them this season.

Really?

France are on 52.416
Russia are on 50.332

If Zenit get through to the Europa League final the points tally is not at least 2100?

4 games max left for Zenit. 4 wins = 8 points. Bonus point for reaching semi and final gives us a total of 10. 10 points divided by 6 ( amount of Russian teams competing in Europe this season) =1.666666 which would give Russia a total coefficient of 52. Less than France

Big game needed from Hulk and Danny, they were both way off the pace v Kuban.

Hopefully this was just a one off, both have been in really good form since the Winter break.

This reminds me of the start v Dortmund in the last 16 of the CL last year.

We look asleep.
