We are currently 6 points ahead with just 4 matches left to play.

Rostov have improved immensely since recruiting the former coach of Rubin Kazan Kurban Berdyev, who on limited resources led Rubin Kazan to 2 Championships and a famous 2-1 v Barcelona in the Nou Camp in the Champions League.

Dzyuba who is on-loan from Spartak Moscow to Rostov and to add the confusion, is a Zenit player from the start of next season, has been ruled out due to a high temperature.

For ourselves, Arshavin rolled the years back last week in a cameo 35 minute appearance against Spartak Moscow last week. He deserves a starting game in place of Ryazanstev.

I'm predicting Hulk starts up top and Rondon remains on the Bench -

Lodygin
Criscito
Lombaerts
Garay
Smolynkov
Garcia
Witsel
Danny
Arshavin
Shatov
Hulk

A win here and we are almost over the finishing line.

Let's go Zenit St Pete!

P.S. In just over 2 months I will be back in sunny St Peter!

Lombaerts injured, Neto on.

Rostov already picked up 2 Yellow's in first 10 mens, they are playing quite physical, I'm expecting them to either get a sending off or give away a penalty.

Arshavin subbed, Ryazantsev on.

Arshavin played better last week but he did enough to warrant another start next week.

Rondon for Hulk.

We've looked a lot worse as an attacking unit since Ryazasntsev came on for Arshavin.

3-0 Rondon, brilliant dribble and through ball by Criscito.

Strange celebration by Rondon which earned him a booking.

Full time Zenit 3 Rostov 0.

We go 9 points clear with 3 matches left (Krasnodar play tomorrow).

Not sure of the MOM, Danny, Criscito, Garay, Garcia and Shatov, all played really well.

Win next week and were Champions or if Krasnodar lose tomorrow we are Champions.

One more win for the title...:) However, it seems that we're reaching the end of an era for some symbol-players of Zenit and this makes me feel weird...I'm still so pissed off for not progressing more in Europa League, some of those players deserved so much more...:/ Pff, anyway, life goes on, we're Zenit!:)

Yep, Tymo, Kerz and Malafeev definitely.

I also think Witsel will go too.

Up until last week I would have said Arshavin too, now I don't know. 50-50 and probably all dependent on what he does in his next 3 games.

I forgot about Danny too.

Out of contract very shortly and not signed a new one yet.

Probably him and Garay have been our best players since the winter break.
