how did dominguez save zenit?
wasn't it that if they drew spartak would have to win by 3 goals to win the title? 1-1 would also give zenit the title
Kim (*) headed out the 100% Saturn goal from under the crossbar on the 90th minute.
Had the score ended 1-1, Spartak would have become champions. (Goal diff. doesn't matter.)

*Live text said Kim, but on zoom up it was Dominguez with No.7 shorts. Apologies.

Congrats to them, for the first time beating the teams from Moscow...

Don't know or their secret is either Gazprom or Advocaat, it's very well done though...

btw, ziaro, you here? :D:thumbsup:

fantastic achievement for Zenit. I am very pleased for them. I think they are an excellent team. They have the Dog Hunter Erik Hagen, they have the Turkish Wasp Fatih Tekke, they have the Ukrainian General Anatoliy Tymoshuk, and they have the super talented Andrei Arshavin. Only bitter envy could deny them the plaudits they deserve, Zenit St Petersburg RUSSIAN CHAMPS! Commiserations to Spartak, runners-up for a third year in a row.
