Premiership team of the year

Since the voting forms supposedly went out this week, who would be in your 11 this year?

For reference, last year's team was:

Petr Cech (Chelsea)
Gary Neville (Man Utd)
John Terry (Chelsea)
Rio Ferdinand (Man Utd)
Ashley Cole (Arsenal)
Frank Lampard (Chelsea)
Steven Gerrard (Liverpool)
Arjen Robben (Chelsea)
Shaun Wright-Phillips (Man C)
Thierry Henry (Arsenal)
Andrew Johnson (C Palace)
This year I'd have:

Jens Lehmann (Arsenal)

Steve Finnan (Liverpool)
Wes Brown (Manchester United)
Kolo Toure (Arsenal)
William Gallas (Chelsea)

Steven Gerrard (Liverpool)
Joe Cole (Chelsea)
Frank Lampard (Chelsea)

Wayne Rooney (Manchester United)
Darren Bent (Charlton)
Ruud van Nistelrooy (Manchester United)

Very 'Big 4' oriented, and no doubt forgetting some as well.

Sorry about that SDD, I have edited it now.

Arsenal fans, dream on you filth! :pp

Jason Roberts is a good shout. Wigan do deserve at least one player in the team.

Yes, I would have put in Damien Francis as he started very well for the first few months but he's been on the bench too much lately.

:nervous:

isn't it a bit too early for the team of the year?

PS. Votes with no Gerrard and Carragher in it shouldn't be counted as not serious. :)

It is, but considering the real team of the year is voted for now, it might give a more accurate reflection.

well as no-one has Henry in their team of the year so far then i can safely say all the bods voted are complete idiots.
:pp

Ruud is top of the Opta stats league, has scored more goals, and got more assists. Conclusive.

he's played more games and is in a team creating many more chances.;)

simply no-one in the League is capable of playing like Henry did at Fulham last week, simply no-one in the world being honest.

Your damn right!

I think people haven't chosen him because he's been out for some stretches, but his goal per game ratio is still top notch.

he could be asleep for 6 months and still be better than Bent.
I picked him because he is a second striker playing up front on his own in his first premiership season for CHARLTON who barely know what a striker means. And he has been huge in some instrumental wins like against Chelsea in the Carling. Henry is in his prime, for Arsenal with some great players behind him and has been injured at times. I still think Henry is by far the better player though.
