I agree. I've commented in the past that the thread should be open earlier. At least 2-3 days before the first match. That way people have time to respond. Most of the times the thread is started on Friday, and games start that same day. That's not enough time, and as a result very few people participate.

There are no scores after round 1 of 2004-05. This season will be shorter.
We start from now: round 18, but all on zero not only because there are no scores to continue from, but also to let new participants join also.
