wenger has bid 5M part exchange for richard wright of ipswich in a deal which would see manninger move the other way
wright wants to go to a top team to further his international chances, and manninger needs to move to a club where he will be guarenteed first team play all the time. his austrian coach told him he needs to play regularly or wont be considered to play with austria in 2002 world cup
ppl at arsenal do not believe that manninger will be a succesful replacement for seaman, who will turn 37 in sept?
wat do you guys think of this deal

The only thing the 'flying pig' is better at manninger at, is giving way stupid penalties....and of course pie eating.

at least if wright comes, arsenal will keep the run of having the 1st chooice england keeper :D
or nick weaver of man city

Maybe, but I don't think having players in the england team, is necessarily associated with have a good team.

Pesonally I don't see that much differnece in weaver or wright, they both have performed well at a low level, but have a hell of alot to prove.

yeah
ive always thought that wright would not be ready for international football because he doesnt even play in a top league, how can he face playing the likes of figo, zidane, davids, kluivert.....
