NO! :nono:
Probably yes, i could trust Torres, we still don't know with Higuain and how his finishing will improve in the future.
no. but im not claiming that higuain is better atm, its more about what hes showed and how much promise he has.

the lst two league titles with higuain throwing his body everywhere, chasing every ball, doing the impossible just to get teh ball back we will never get that with Torres.
Yeah i admire Gonzalo's determination, but i think Torres is such a nice humble guy, who gets the job done, consistently, that's my kind of player.
Torres is a great striker and it would be great if Gonzalo could reach his level, but I wouldn't trade him, because of all he has done for this club in the last two years. He was one of the keys for the title 2006/07, which was extremely important and which made Iker Casillas cry for joy. (anyone still got the animated gifs?) :proud:

Thank you very much! One of the best football moments I've ever seen.
With regard to the question: No.
big a$$ NO

Hig the kid is still 20 and one of the favourite players of all RM fans...

he will be a legend for us just like Butra...
these question are always going to fail, Fernado Torres is a quality player who has found himself as a football player which is good for Espana & Liverpool.

Pipita is one of those players who captures the hearts of madridistas, there are other players who are better than him but we call him our own and this goes farther...
We wouldn't have traded Puskas for Pele for example. Doesn't mean Puskas is a better footballer than Pele.
I understand how you guys see Higuain as one of your own. The way he carries the team forward with his attacking play and celebrates his goals, but from a pure footballing perspective Torres is clearly the superior player.

I think most top clubs would love to have Torres, even at the expense of losing a talented and promising player like Gonzalo. His stats speak for themselves - he's one of the best strikers in the game and still quite young.

A factor against this hypothesis is Huntelaar. If he turns out to be a great "9" for you then Higuain would be a better compliment to him than Torres would.
3.5 years of age difference is alot in football and sports in general, i wouldnt compare them both untill Higuain is 24; but seeing how important he is right now at the age of 21 for Real Madrid means alot...
Torres is obviously the better player. No question about that. But if i were Real Madrid, i won't do it. why fix it if it aint broke? Higuain is doing his part, and theres no guarantee that Torres would deliver for Real, as great as he may be.
I'm not positive Higuain is as talented as Torres, we will know how good he will become in the future, but not yet. Remember,, Torres was seen as a very talented player at a young age too.. That said, I like Higuain a great deal, when people spoke of selling Higuain before this season I said that would be a mistake on Real Madrid's part, and it looks like I'm right about that. Higuain convinced me last season, especially at the end, when he scored important goals to secure the title. His performances lately have only reinforced my opinion of him.
..made Iker Casillas cry...
Higuain made Casillas cried *oh no* :pp

Torres is obviously the better player..
NOW. But potential is always a question mark, isn't it? :)

Back on topic: NO.
