Will Fiorentina throw it away?

3 rounds left. But a semi with Rangers and possible final before last round of serie a matches. Add to that all 3 games are against relegation fighters, while milan last 2 rounds will be against teams who dont have anything to fight anymore, apart from a couple of italians who want to impress Donadoni.

Psv where terrible in CL this year.
It would be hard for them to be less impressive than Milan was this season.
Or Inter.

Come to think of it, it would probably be the best for Italian football to just forbid Inter from entering the CL ;)
milan are something like 52m pounds in the red.
Don't make up numbers.
Or Inter.

They should ban all teams except Real Madrid and Milan from playing in the CL. Hm, maybe Liverpool should be allowed too... :undecide:

Here is my proposal, Liverpool and Milan get to play a qualifier, the winner meets Real in the CL-final. :strong:

Inter at least put up a fight - but were penalised by refereeing - against a ChL expert.

Milan were just awful.:lala:

Yes unlike you, A10, Carson35, ... and other of your fellow fans :wallbang:

It was just a joke anyway so dool down :)
I don't speak for the others but yes, unlike me.
I am not convinced that Fiorentina have thrown it away. Their next two games are against relegation-caliber teams while Milan have to travel to Naples which will be a very difficult game.

Not to forget that we have to play Udinese in our last game and considering how good they've been this season and our terrible home record then nothing is won or lost yet.
Clearly it is not over, but Milan does have the momentum on their side.

Torino away isn't an easy game either for Fiorentina, especially not if Torino haven't secured safety (away against Livorno) in the penultimate round.
Milan just beat the Scudetto Champions. They have been on a roll since the local derby with the Nerazzurri. I would expect them to easily demolish Udinese & Napoli, I'm not jinxing at all. I'm serious.
Milan will not screw up with the CL fully within their grasp and on the line.

what you say is true, but it should not be forgotten that we just passed them after they lost against a relegation-caliber team and we played the first placed team. Motivation almost always beat class in the last rounds.
If we were at these two final fixtures 3-4 weeks ago, then Fio would surely quality over Milan even with a 2-point deficit. But right now, Milan are finally in good form after struggling throughout the entire season, and Fiorentina have lost most of their steam so there's little chance Fio can overtake Milan now.
I thought the UEFA Cup run would be damaging to Fiorentina's hopes
in the long run.

The squad didnt seem to be able to cope with so many games in this
stage of the season, whereas Milan with a superior squad were only
playing for the fourth spot, with no other distractions.

For the good of football, I'd like Viola to take the final spot though.

I'm sick and tired of seeing the same 3-4 teams from Italy, Spain and
England in the CL every season :rollani:

Very true.
Not to mention, that would probably make you smile.
