I've never understood why Inter was hated, even before Calciopoli.

Everyone hates Juve for example, and for good reason, only a fool
admires a thief.

But it's become even worse after Calciopoli and gone out of control
in the last couple of weeks.

What's behind this "hate" ?

So you're moving from Parma to Inter now, eh?

Unsurprising.

Ignorance and small penises mostly.

Everyone hates the winners, regardless if they are legal like Inter or corrupt like Rubentus/Bilan.

Well (insert baked good here), i don't see why a real Parma fan would create a thread asking why people hate Inter, just after having his team sent to Serie B by them.

I fully expect Inter to show up under the teams you support. You're a good fit.

why Inter?

the rumored Guido Rossi's and Telecom Italia's influence in the Calciopoli, faxed Scudetto, ref decisions going their way & media's hate campaign (like the "real" standings published in papers this season), being very successful domestically while tarnishing Serie A's reputation with their UCL preformances, boring team and boring football...basically they fill in the natural position of "new Juve", calcio world needs a team like this to channel their hate on. People want to hate the team at the top and it's not hard to find reasons.

Inter didnt relegate us :wallbang:

We had to win to survive, they won, fair play to them.

That's the nature of sports, and I dont blame Inter, if anything
I blame my own team's shortcomings.

But I wouldnt expect you to understand (Insert culprit here)
whether its Guido Rossi, or Moratti or the pope :)

Even before Calciopoli.

I remember there was an explotion of Inter fans around the
time Ronaldo signed up, and they became hated for some reason
people said something about them having too much money.

The Irony was that Serie A was awash with money at the time
like Lazio buying Crespo for $35 million.

I did dislike Inter in the past only because my little brother is a fan,
but that's about it, just to wind him up.

bollocks, very few people truly hated them before Calciopoli. They hadn't won a thing in years so most people pitied them or found their failures amusing. they were probably the least hated big club in the world.

They didnt win today with a handball from their captain, or get fake
penalties etc.

Since they did it fair and square unlike your scum of a team, I'd have
to be one bitter bastard to hate on them ;)

Its a personal preference for me. I just happen to like Milan alot more (as well as most Serie A teams except Juve and Siena. What irks me more though is not that they win persay, but they win despite the fact they are a mess. Also, I really don't like Moratti.

So that's why I don't like Inter. Not trying to offend any Inter fans, that's just the way I feel.

Contrary to the opinions expressed in this thread, I believe that the winner of the Serie A will always be hated, as long as it is a big club, such as Inter, Milan, Juve, Roma, Lazio. The reason being the rivalries. Most of the fans who hate the other clubs are fans of one of those five teams, the rest of the fans of the honorable other clubs including just below top level like Fiorentina, Torino, Sampdoria, etc. don't really hate us particularly more than any other team when they win.

They do accumulate quite a few penalties too.
