I wonder why everyone`s so negative with YU at EURO2000. Tell me which teams have better players than our team!
O.K. Norway will be tough, but they all play in England. Why are there no Norwegians at the real great clubs in Spain or Italy. All the teams in the test matches lack of form these days. Important is only the tournament itself.
Of course, our biggest problem is tactics. We always start 4-4-2 with fixed positions. Boskov should change this and for example let mihajlovic move into midfeld sometimes, like Effenberg at Bayern. Or we need two real wingers like holland has with Overmars and Zenden (Ognjenovic and J.Stankovic). Change is the chance.

Why are we pessimistic, well lets put it this way, this is about the 100th time we have scored after a Sinisa free kick, the way we play is boring, with no idea at all, our strikers are so naive and slow (they fell into the Chinese offside traps who knows how many times), and if we can't score a nice, effective goal (this is the same thing I have been talking about in a few earlier topics) against China, how the hell are we going to do it against Norway or Spain!!??

Lets look on the bright side.....they did have a YU coaching them....that might explain why we didn't score more goals.

Maybe our playing were thinking its only china....we'll beat them easy. I think maybe some of our players were over-confident but i think the better the opposition the better we do play.

Back in France.....we played Iran and America both teams were not that good....but we played shocking against them....then against Germany we played much better..

I am looking forward to Euro 00....and i have high expectations from our players...and i am optomistic.

And what about the match against Holland, what about the two matches against Ireland in the qualifiers, they surely didn't underestimate Ireland..
There is no excuse for this match, those players were supposed to be fighting for a position in the squad but yet they act as if they don't care, and what is worst it seems that Jugovic has confirmed my doubts, he is totally out of form and if he doesn't improve it is going to be a huge blow to our already slim chances..
And one more question to all of our fans, who out of all of our players, is a huge star (because Boskov said yesterday that we have the best players in Europe..), I really want to know who they are..?

Does somebody really believe we can compare them to Nesta, Zidane, Beckham, Nedved, Rivaldo..???
Maybe I am being a bit too pesimistic and I really do hope I'm wrong (oh, hope isn't a word that can really express what I mean!! ), but I can't help it, this has happened too many times..
