Lazio - Crespo
Milan - Shevchenko
Inter - Vieri
Parma - Amoroso
Roma - Batistuta
Juve - Inzaghi

I'd go for Crespo, followed by Batistuta and Shevchenko.

I think it'll either be Sheva or Crespo.

Sheva's proven he can do it, and so has Crespo(after all he came close).

One advantage goes to Crespo because he's got a better team around him, so he'll probably get more chances.

It remains to be seen if Milan buys anybody. It's also dependant on Boban's fitness, if he is to set up Sheva for some goals.

Del Piero will never get the serie a top scorer he is ****. I hope man utd buy him and Inzaghi because that is where overrated players like them belong, that way they will not get selected for the national team. Vafanculo Del Piero and e Inzaghi.
Vieri, Crespo, Shevchenko or Lopez will get the top scorer title.
theLegend, I only wish Signori was like he used to be.

I think it will be a battle between
Batistuta and Crespo. Both are now playing
for very big clubs in Roma and Lazio and
I imagine this will be a battle that may
well go to the very final day of the season.

1.BATISTUTA...28 GOALS
2.CRESPO......26 GOALS
3.SHEVCHENCO..23 GOALS
4.TREZEGUET...21 GOALS
5.DEL PIERO...18 GOALS

I don't think Trezeguet will score that much.
I reckon he score less than 15 goals.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to seein Lazio-Roma :)

Invasion you forgot to mention that credit should be paid to Pippo Inzaghi and Pierluigi Collina for the 26 Del Piero penalties.

Del Piero should sell insurance or carry pianos. He proved he can't play soccer. Stupid, sad puppy dog look.

Seeing ADP is just like seeing Ronaldo

both are too much into rushing to prove themselves rather than play as a member of a team and thats why they both fail to reach the level they were once at.

I think this will be a break-out year for Montella. I wish he would have played more in Euro 2000. This is going to be a make-it-or-break-it year for Del Piero and I'm counting on him regaining his old form ( I pray he does, as it would be great for Italy). He should no longer be considered an automatic call-up for the national team. From now on, he has to earn his place.
I would also like to see Trapatoni try a Vieri-Montella strike force with Totti in behind the strikers.

Yes, a Vieri-Montella-Totti attack would be unstoppable, not like the crappy and weak Inzaghi-Del Piero pair, piss those two mingia molle off.
Vieri-Pirlo-Montella, Vieri-Fiore-Ventolla would also work well.

invasion you are very funny!! :D

you are forgetting that for ADP to score that many he will have to have playing time...and if he doesn't decide to get his nerve back he couldn't hit sand if he fell off a camel, much less hit the back of the net from the spot... :(

1. Sheva: 28
2. Bati: 25
3. Crespo: 24
4. Vieri (if he stays fit...ha!): 20
5. Montella: 18
(nobody else really matters....even if they score more!)

Sorry, but Del Vecchio is too slow to run & react to seriously contend for a spot at the top. i love roma and the goal he scored for italy v. france, but he relies on that kind of luck for all his efforts (roma v. milan? scored over maldini after montella's shot hit the post?!). he's a detriment for roma.

PLUS, future prediction: Cassano will be top scorer for italy within the next 3-5 years.
