Yes Serie A is one hell of a Disney competition. Good knowledge right there... :stoned:

Totti is for sure one of the best, yet he chose "heart" for his city and team rather than football awards. It is also true that Roma back in the year they won the Scudetto was promising and no one would have thought that their managment would have been so dull.
what are you talking about? I'm italian and die hard milan follower ..in your opinion can i bash serie a and label it as mickey mouse competition?

i meant, if he stays at atletico he will play at best Uefa cup. At best!

I tend to disagree Figolover.
I have seen the players you talk about and I agree that Xabi is a great player, yet I was talking more about the attacking players. Yes Xabi is good, but I think that Reyes is a bit better since he proved himself not only in Spain with Sevilla but also in England with Arsenal. Torres, I saw him play and I can say that he is class, yet Jose Mari and Javi Moreno were great in Spain too and look how they did when they moved to another championship (Italy), total flukes.

Vicente is good, but I do not regard him as world class personally. Same with Joaquin and Luque. They seem to be the typical Spaniards who when going into another champ. would totally suck. Take Farinos, Mendieta, etc. as an example.
I won't attack your post, as it's your opinion and you're rightfully allowed to voice it.

However, saying that Vicente is not world-class is wrong.

I challenge you to find any better left-winger in the world right now.

Am I dreaming this? This includes also Serie A.
Ok, i will explain it in small statements, rephrasing:

_Totti , die to his faith, has always ruled out possible trnsfers, but he always complain the international pundits overlook him for awards and don't rate him as a true great.

_Torres wants to stay there for many years, but hardly will play a major tournament, except with Sapin

_Therefore, if he makes the same decision Totti has done, staying with his heart club can be good, but in the long period it can be frustrating to play for a minor side, ok?

It was just an error of bad english and to think a 100% italian can bash Serie A where my club of a lifetime plays is at least silly and illogical

And I already know what you mean, yet like I stated before, Roma was doing well in 2001 and no one would have thought their managment would have been so bad.
But after that he's had some underground offers, but he's always chosen to stay there.
No probs, but you don't have to complain then; last year it was clear Roma was going to have bad times

That's his choice. If he's happy in the team that he supports since he was a little kid, let him be. Maybe he just wants to be one of the greatest Atlético players ever and not the best player of the world.

Besides, Atlético is potentially the 3rd club of Spain without any doubt. They're still paying their relegation to Segunda Division, but historically they have a lot of domestic and international titles. Atlético Madrid is a big club without a doubt, despite their current situation. I'm sure that in the middle term they can be among the top 4 in Spain, playing the CL. They are the 3rd club in Spain in terms of social support and this fact will help them to recover their economical situation, soon or later.

9 Ligas, 9 Copas, 1 Cup Winners Cup and 1 Intercontinental Cup. Of course, they're not as great as AC Milan, but still one of the best clubs in Europe.

That sounds so sweet of you.

Yet, Atletico have not yet sold him because he is just like Adriano to Inter. Without him they would be out of the Primera. And yes, probably the best Spaniard out there with Reyes.
Has hell frozen over?

I am not complaining about anything. Totti was always told that Roma was gonna improve and he always belived them. I am one of those people that likes to see specific players stay in their own teams yet Totti at 27 can not stay in Roma anymore. He should leave if he wants some sort of good awards. I personally think that if Totti would move to Real (for example)he would win the Ballon d'Or in his first year.

Unless, Roma get a rich owner like Abramovich, then it is a different story. :)

Primitivc, ;) mate if you do not think so, your thing. I can personally say that Robben is better than Vicente. Opinions you know.

Kamp, read my custom title. Hope to have nice chats or friendly "banters" with you all. :)

First of all i would like to emphasize that Atletico is NOT a minor club like someone here said. They always had top notch players and their history, fans, stadium etc. has always been one of the biggest in Europe. As Koeman said, they are the 3rd club in Spain but theyre just going through a rough patch.

Torres is a rojoblanco to the max. The guy simply does not want to go anywhere and neither do the Gil family want to, even if they did, there would probably be riots in Madrid and they would be killed :D The guy is so talented, he has pace, power, technique. The sky's the limit for him, hes going to be a legend.

Oh and by the way, you can not compare Vicente to Robben. Vicente has been playing in one of the biggest teams at the highest level for so long now and is by far the best and most complete left midfielder in the game. The guy is top class !

When was the last time they were in the CL? Atletico is a good team but Torres can play in much fancier clubs and could gain much more fame from them.
What part of fame and money DO NOT MATTER to Torres don't you understand?

He would HATE to leave Atletico and the Gil family in charge of the club would HATE to see him leave.

Add up the math. It's not rocket science. :rollani:

It's simple: Torres isn't going anywhere for the next five years at the EARLIEST.

the best club for him is Manchester United, but he probably would stay at Atletico for few years and then Chelsea would buy him if they still have Roman.
...I'm sure that the best club for him- Glasgow Rangers!!! :star: :D
there are no club better, especially for him)))*lol
