Alain Sutter, Stephane Chapuisat and Cirico Sforza are the three best Swiss players ever

The only thing I know is that it's definitely not Marco Pascolo.

I would go for Seppe "Goldfiessli" Hügi or Karli Odermadt, just because they both played for FC Basel a few decades ago. Considering the impact on world (or rather european) football, Chapuisat seems to be a good choice while Sforza is nothing more than a schemer with a few good games.

The best Swiss player I saw was Stephane Chapuisat! He's was in my opinion an elite striker in Europe during his Dortmund days in the early to mid ninties.

Sforza was cool. I liked him at Bayern and Inter. Alain Sutter rocked for Nurnberg but he sort of sucked for Bayern after his transfer there. Adrian Knupp wasn't a bad either he was a pretty decent striker. I did like that Swiss side of the early to mid ninties, that made the 2nd round of USA 94. Bregy and Geiger are found in my memory. But Chapuisat and to a lesser extent Sforza were the only superstars in that team.
