Up until 3 weeks ago, I lived in Watertown. I now live in Nashua, NH, but my office is in Cambridge (Kendall Square area). I'm about two blocks from Cambridge Street (Sunset Grille) one block from the new Atasca, and about 5 blocks from the Casa do Benfica in Cambridge.

Geez, sometimes I think I'm the only one living here in Portugal...

I don't live in any city ( :D ), I live in the coutryside near Setúbal and Palmela, and LOVE it! (Octávio Machado has his home 3 or 4 miles from me - so he's my neighbour)

Marcoa...
You're so lucky.
You like FC Porto.
You're Canadian.

I wish I were you.
(NOT !!!) ;)

Seriously now, I like what you and the rest of the people working on the Portuguese site have done so far. Good job. (At least there is something we both like—Portugal)

Beantown the center of the universe?!
Montreal?!

The NY tri-state area rocks...Right now we have the best hockey team in the Devils ready to kick some Dallas butt, then we have the Knicks who are going to the finals to hopefully beat the Lakers...then we have the Metros, the Mets, the Yankees, the Newark Bears, the Nets, the Giants, the Jets...must I go on! Plus we have the best Portuguese Community outside of Portugal...it's not even close!

B-Proof - I actually pass the Sporting Club every morning, when I cut through Somerville from 93 to get to work. I was somewhat suprised after they won the title; I expected some banners or some other decorations. Instead, just the Sportinguista sign that's always been there.

As for the feast question: absolutely! My father grew up in the North End (we're Italian) on Hanover Street, and my parents met at Pizzeria Regina (if you're from Boston, you know what this place is!). St. Anthony's feast is the biggest feast there, and my patron saint to boot!

Forca Boston!

HA HA HA HA HA HA

Montreal is truly North america's greatest city. It is, along with Quebec City, the only true EUROPEAN city in NA. We also got the freaking sh1tty habs to watch. So what...we don't have a lot of sports teams, but no city in NA can beat our night life, our clubs, our joy of life. We speak 2 languages here.....nothing is better than Montreal.

RedEagle, hold on a quick second!!

I have spent my whole life up in Boston, except for that 4 year "self-imposed exile" in "lovely South Orange,NJ" (I use the word lovely as sarcastically as possible!!).

With the exception of Ferry Street/Ironbound section, the Tri-State area has nothing on Boston. You can take the carjackings, the stench from Staten Island, the dirty subways, the Yanks, Mets, Devils, Rangers, and MetroStars. Hell, who would want to take the MetroStars, anyway???

I'll take clean streets, clean air, Fenway, Harpoon and Sam Addams Beer, Bobby Orr, Larry Bird, no "R's" in anyones vocabulary, and just to close this once and for all...

In the old NASL, New York had Pele, but WE HAD EUSEBIO!!!!

Now, let's get back to talking soccer!!

Dude I went to Boston, Virginia and NYC to name a few places. Boston was nice with all the Irish and all. Virginia sucked because everyone referred to me as a "Canadian from CANADIA" what the hell is Canadia? As for NYC...well there was no abundance of French signs..there was a lot of people and a lot to do...but there is something about Montreal...not sure what it is...the unemployment? no. the language police? no the "joie de vivre" (Joy of living)? YES! Montreal is the number one city in NA! POINT AND SIMPLE!

BTW Carlito

saying Boston's nightclubs are better than Montreals is like saying that in WC 2002 we can expect a final of Cook Islands vs Venezuela.
