SEO is silly nonsense - turning relevant terms into advertising platform and condemning them into obscurity.

Proper and non-proper audiences?

But who cares. People can bad-mouth a company, you need to bring it down to the 3rd page, whether using white or black.

Hey Experts I have 2 SEO questions that i couldnt find answers on the internet.

#1 . If I copy and paste an article into the website's internal blog (it belongs to someone else externally and I credit it below with the original URL. Just like XT has a lot of news with a link below).. Is that considered OK or it is bad or it is good for serp ranking . Since the crawler might or might not have noticed the link of the origin. I m 'sharing'

#2. In order to achieve a wider audience, when i copy all the content and paste it to multiple blogs like wordpress and blogger. Since the articles are exactly the same, would it hurt in serps a) the orginal website and/or b) the external blogs

1. It isn't considered bad by the Google Bot (crawler), however it will not help you on the SERP part. Duplicating content on your own URL is what kills SERP and the crawler doesn't "like" it. A better way to increase SERP is increasing your domain authority, by link building. So if you place a link in your own content (write something based on the original article) and try to also have the source link too your site, the Google Crawler "likes" it.

Content (articles) used to be important for SEO and SERP, however this has changed several Google updates ago. If you want to read more about SEO and SERP I recommend Moz.com. A great website with tools (free if used on small websites) and enough video's and tutorials on SEO.

Black hat SEO and White hat SEO

Black hat SEO refers to techniques and strategies used to get higher search rankings, and breaking search engine rules. Black hat SEO focuses on only search engines and not so much a human audience. Black hat SEO is typically used by those who are looking for a quick return on their site, rather than a long-term investment on their site. Some techniques used in black hat SEO include: keyword stuffing, link farming, hidden texts and links, and blog content spamming. Consequences of black hat SEO can possibly result in your site being banned from a search engine and de-indexed as a penalization for using unethical techniques.

White hat SEO refers to the use of techniques and strategies that target a human audience opposed to a search engine. Techniques that are typically used in white hat SEO include using keywords, and keyword analysis, doing research, rewriting meta tags in order for them to be more relevant, backlinking, link building as well as writing content for human readers. Those who use white hat SEO expect to make a long-term investment on their website, as the results last a long time.
