First it was Cagliari Juve at Parma's stadium, not Cagliari Milan at Torino. WTF is going on here??? :shakepalm:

When the turn of Lazio comes to face Cagliari in away fixture, it will be played at Cagliari stadium without a doubt.

i have read in some sources that ( it's OFFICIAL Cagliari-Milan, will be played in )

to make it more clear for me, was it doubt for Cagliari-Milan be played in the Is Arenas due to the security reasons? and that it had not been ready for such a big game?? any other reason?

What are you, Cellino's alt account? Trying to blame others for his obvious colossal mismanagement of the stadio for how long now. Every week is almost the same, its a touch or go if they will be allowed to play at home, if they have passed the security requirements, or building codes etc.

From what I read it seems it isnot only Cellino's fault. It is hard to believe how hard it is for most Italian clubs to get any control or permits for stadiums.

You at Juve are fortunate.

Yes, they really should ignore the fact when stadiums fail security measures. In fact, there's no need for it. Safety for the people should not be a concern, and it's OK should something disastrous happen. Who cares about numbers? It looks fine, and they (the numbers) say there's a low likelihood anyway.

And Juve is very lucky indeed because it's likely not subject to the same security tests and measures.

Well it appears that Berlusconi dug up some Bunga Bunga pics of the interior minister and persuaded him to make the match happen at Is Stadium, presumable to win some votes in Sardinia, as this is in now way better for Milan.

Either way, good that the home games is played at home. :)

The rules are different for Juve vs everyone else. Cagliari and other clubs cant even get permissions to build their stadiums...

It took between mid 90s to only few years ago to make the new Stadio a reality. That's despite being backed by hugely influential billionaire family and company, yeah things take a while to happen over there.

And lol if you take away the responsibility away from Cellino's mismanagement in this(its not even about permits you oaf) . He is the kind of individual that perpetuates this kind of way of doing things.

It is not about rules. It is a bit puzzling instead why city councils is so adamantly against this. Can the income really be that good for them that they will go against their own local clubs?

Cagliari chief Cellino arrested

Cagliari President Massimo Cellino is one of three men to have been arrested on Thursday following an enquiry into the construction of the Is Arenas.

Mauro Contini, the mayor of Quartu where the stadium is located, and public works commissioner Stefano Lilliu were also taken away by police for questioning.

Reports suggest that the authorities have been looking into alleged attempted embezzlement and fraudulent misrepresentation.

Cagliari moved into the Is Arenas for the 2012-13 campaign after opting to leave the Stadio Sant’Elia following a fall out with the local council.

The Is Arenas has been plagued by problems all season. The Roma game was postponed, while the tie against Juventus was switched to the neutral ground of Parma.

It did stage the Milan tie last weekend after it was initially not granted the safety certificate to house fans. Cagliari appealed against the decision and won.
