Like in the past PSV shows that a move from Amsterdam to Eindhoven is a far less problem than the other way round, only this attempt to lure Van Basten away is simply pathetic. I can;t really imagine Marco at PSV. They better go with Eijkelkamp for that open spot. At least he will be ready to talk and he fits better to the club.

He would strengthen their attack though, he is by far better than those they have already.
YEAH! Give us the goalmachine back on the field! :smileani: :rollani:
No...to nice to come true. These times are over. :(
An Ajax-legend at PSV?! Strange imagination somehow if you ask me.

I was surprised to read the news at the first time, but it seems Van Basten has rejected the offer. Well...I can't imagine him to go to PSV anyway. However it proves that Marco really made a good job as Jong Ajax coach.

FORZA SAN MARCO !!

Today Ajax.nl also reported the news about them and Marco agreeing a new deal. There were some problems since Marco only wanted to sign for one year and didn't want to rush any things, which was the reason for that club of farmers to give it a try, but now they can forget about it for sure.

Good! :)
But why wanted Marco only a one-year-contract? Does he wait for a more interesting task like being coach at a first league club ?
Ah, I d like to see him training a big club one time and I hope his career as coach is longer and as sucesfull as his career as player was.

Like I said; he doesn't want to rush things, cause he has seen others from the '88 generation do that with no so much succes (Wouters, Van 't Schip and in lesser extent Gullit and Rijkaard). And Marco doesn't like to fail.

Yes, it would be cool. Why not? I'm sure you'll do it in the future. :)
