This will cheer you up.

Couldn't get passed white's filter. I'll have to wait until I get home to see whatever abomination you posted - probably a pic of Galo da Costa in drag...

I'm the nostalgic kind...

Even though I thoroughly enjoy the post-Morattipoli events I believe things were better in the past. I miss my old crap players like Centofanti, Festa, Fontolan etc...
You miss a player who signed his autographs 100fanti??

I miss players like Sosa, Savicevic, Ravanelli, Signori, Baresi, Baggio. Such players put to shame the "stars" of today.

What can I say... :embarass:

I can't believe anyone would actually want his autograph though... :undecide: :howler:

I am the sort of fan who likes to go to cosy stadiums (preferably old authentic ones), preferably not very large crowds, in an atmosphere without any tension in the air so that I can sit next to a fan of the other team and have a chat and a drink together. I think this is far more important than what happens on the pitch, I like to enjoy the whole event rather than only focussing on what happens on the grass.

As for the team: I am easy forgiving as long as the team tries. If they try but just aren't good enough to win, then fair enough. But I try to see football as just a game, so I rarely (or never) get upset about results. I have gone through some embarrassing losses and multiple relegations with KVO, but in the end I am smiling again only 5 minutes after a 9-0 loss. It's only a game and the next morning you wake up facing the real problems of the world again.

I am the type of fan who is devote but tries to not take it too seriously, and who puts the social aspect as priority rather than the results on the pitch.

Also, Joshua's picture makes me think of lube. It is just unfair that I am accused of being perverted while it is you (the rest of the forum) who constantly post sleezy pictures. This is not fair to put the blame on me, any healthy man will get arroused when seeing that picture.

It just wouldn't be the same if it didn't make you think of lube, or any other thing outside your affinity for the butt. It's your charm - embrace it. And pay no mind to those who can't find the humor in it.

are you the kind to burn the idoles you have adored like the barça fans do?
or are you more moderated?
me, i'm not too harsh, i know that some players could have difficult periodes in their career and i'm more inclined to forgive bad prestation and still have faith.
also i would never be to harsh with my team.
One who just cheers on a team. I don't care about their hair, lifestyle, or anything else of that sort. Sometimes, I think some of you would want to bed with them. LoL!

If you zoom in close enough you can see a part of her front door as well, looks like she shaved

that's not reasonnable.:nono:
Haha. Sorry Mali :pp

I am somewhat more coherent now.

I'm usually the optimistic fan, yet I'll be realistic when appropriate. I'm not really that bias, I like to see good football. I have my favourite players and my own dreams and aspirations for my own club, yet I know when some things aren't possible.

I'm passionate about my club and I'm pumped whenever we score, especially in big games (I never used to be like this). I try and watch most games, but it's hard because of the time difference, but if it's a big match I definitely watch it and I get genuinely pissed off when we lose.

That's all I can think of, for now.

I was once like that, but -with the risk of sounding like a crap fan- don't you think you sort of grow out of that somehow? I did anyway. Let's say that I was down for days when my team lost back when I was a young teenager. Then my psychological problems hit me really hard during my mid-teens and I realised that "it was only football, only a game". I was happy just to attend games and be distracted from my real issues for a few hours, to have a break from daily issues. But shortly after the game those real problems are there again, and then you sort of realise that a defeat or a relegation in football is just a bad result but nothing more. It is a game. In the end the real issues in life are your job, guaranteeing an income, support your family (if you have one), ... Football is a pleasant hobby but I have difficulties in taking it too serious. I wouldn't want to anyway, not even the worst defeat comes anywhere near the seriousness of real problems: finances, health, unemployment, you get what I mean. I am happy I have football and groundhopping on weekly basis to offer me amusement and a break from those serious issues, but just being at the stadium and enjoying myself is fulfilling my needs really, the result of the game is nowhere near the priority.

Maybe I am no "die hard" then but I can easily smile again 5 minutes after losing 9-0, or sleap well after my team has just been relegated. Some really difficult times during my youth have put football in perspective to me, and having a game without worries to me is actually my own victory even if my team is losing heavily. I still need Xanax with me as a panic attack can occur at any time even during a football game, to spend an entire day out (leaving for an away game in the morning, seeing the game without any hassle, and returning home in a good mood) without those issues is my own victory even if my team just lost quite badly.
