Ok,I understand he is a good player but what exaclty has he done to qualify for European football? he doesnt start at Corinthians (understntable with their midfield),he never gets a call to the national team,basically an expensive sub.Right?

I dont think Arsenal will have any regrets they pulled of the deal...

Edu does start for Corinthians...he is a very good player, with a lot of talent, tackels well, read the game very well, a lot of mobility and plays wieth heart. Inteligent young guy, not ignoratn like most football players.
He has never been called up, but a lot of players have never been called up and player in Europe
Ex: Jardel, Elber, Sonny Anderson, Alex Alves, Adailton, Emerson (before he went to europe) etc..etc..etc..
