yeah, what if? Imagine Crespo getting injured after all the expectations. Remember he will be playing over in SA for a while. It would be horrible, wouldn't it? who would replace him? Ravanelli? Inzaghi? I think not. Salas you might add? well, he would be the perfect one for the job, to bad he's not going to be in the line up next season. I guess Eriksson would have to play one of his youngsters he has in his back pocket. It could happen, he could egt injured. I'm not saying I want to see it happen, but then again....

Yeah you did, but if you think about it, its a stupid thought, Crespo has everything but Ronaldo's medical history, if you check Ronaldo's medical history you will se that his knee problem was something that bothered him since the beginning of his career, even before he played a PSV, when he played in Brazil, he had knee problems. Obvciosuly the problems got worse when he came to Serie A but, he has had medical problems all the time. Crespo unlike ronaldo had no had any cronical problems, that could become a serious injury. So quit it!!!

Actually I think this is a worth-thinking scenario. This "what if..." is something about the future so something can be done to AnticipatE this, should this happen! I won't call it pessimism, and I wouldn't dismiss the possibility of Crespo getting badly injured as well! Football is highly unpredictable and (almost) anything is possible!

Expect for the worst, hope for the best. Let's not rely too much on Crespo next season. Don't forget we still have other strikers and it would be great to see many Lazio players scoring like they did last season instead of just the striker

So that's what I think : don't rely too much on Crespo next season! Our reliance on Veron last season was rather dangerous - when he played badly, we did as well! Instead, the rest of the players should do the best next season!
