Last year, Ranieri owned every big team with his tactic. He even was playing Salihamidicz in one of those games. Every team goes through rough patches, and now with Trezeguet injured, Camoranesi injured and in terrible form, Sissoko not eating and a shadow of himself, Del Piero in bad form, Chiellini 2 point mistake, Buffon injured, can we not slow down a little on the judgements? I think I named the best players of Juventus there, and all of them have some sort of problem at the same time.

I'm not saying Ranieri is amazing, and he's definately too cautious sometimes but let's not forget he was able to get results last year, and he isn't now because his individuals are not in good form.
I feel the same way.
At the same time bono has a point as far as the purchases goes, that we have only made one considerately big one.
So in a way this all favors Ranieri.
Nero has a point as well when he says we are doing worse than last year. Whether it is because now there are more games, which means also more injuries it is possible, but the point is, Ranieri has said that we are challenging for both. If he makes such satements then he should be held to his own words.
I think Juve have indeed a good team, and although these last games have been reltively bad, i hope its only a matter of time. We have hit bad patches with Lippi, Ancelotti, Capello etc and its all part of the game. I am not too worried.

Plus another thing is, where do you make the difference between the merit of the coach and that of the players? It has to be one body.

Now if you have Iaquinta making a declaration saying, let Giovinco play, as he is a joy to watch, one can be sure that its not after watching two games.

At the same time, you see that Del Piero is in bad form. Bench him. Watch what happens after he has sat out after a couple of games, watch him go in form immediately.

The team needs more nerve, they need to wake up from this and they need to play with more anger than ever. Juve traditionally the best team in italy, the players can't forget this.

Right now ithink its fitness playing the role more than any other thing.
This plays a major role in fatigue, as well as injuries.
Which reminds me....

Where is C. Zanetti

As far as my opinion of Raneri goes....

When he was at Chelsea, i thought he was no good.
Ocourse i was against his coming.

However, eventhough i was against it, he has impressed me wth last year. For that he still has my support. Although he doesnt seem as influential as some of the other coaches, its to early to say as now is where his influence will take shape.

Thank you for that hint, Bono! It leaves me going to bed with a wonderful, warm fuzzy feeling of hope, after a long working day.

Ferrara as caretaker and Prandelli as our coach from next season.... if one could actually believe that to be true..... by all means let Lanzafame run amok and score 5 goals this weekend.... or anyone, including own goals and the ref, actually :).

poor you, also having in mind that i am talking about big fat international law firms here (that have not replied to emails). Weird how 100% diff hong kong is though ;)

either way, no news today on ranieri front. This weekend, your Palermo game, might be unique - for the 1st time since we know each other, glen, we might be cheering for the same team in a Juve game :D

do or die for ranieri against palermo?

think this sentiment perpetrated by the media is quite absurd. i mean, i know we're in a crisis because we're undefeated in 7 games, 1 point behind the team we're chasing for the scudo (inter) and 2nd place and 4 points ABOVE the team we're fighting with for the 2nd spot in champions (zenit).....

but have i completely lost my mind to claim we're over-reacting a touch, the fans vis a vis media sensationalism? granted, now, the dressing room has come into play with the allegation this week ranieri's lost it....how a result against palermo will resolve that is way beyond my realm of comprehension. then again, when rumours are started by tuttosport i don't question them, i have to question calcio italiano "fans" for even subscribing to their notions which at the best of times, is completely baseless.

...you do realize that Ranieri was a topic here (and in Juventini nation) before TuttoSport came along with their rumour, right?
I even remember when you were once leading the parade...

I dont like Spalletti in overall competence because he is a one trick pony tactically, but would take him still because he atleast HAVE a tactic.

I said I dont like Spalletti already (extreme one trick pony). But if there is little other choice, I rather lose in style, while actually being able to pass around and playing attractively even if you are doing **** all, then this shambolic excuse of football coaching that we endure under Ranieri.

He is way better then Ranieri, even if the improvement he would bring might not be enough.
