I got this from DM, it was posted a few days ago (Dec 24). So what do we make of this? Is it a speculation or is there some truth behind it? If this rumour was from say Calciomercato or Tuttosport, I wouldn't have bothered. But coming from la Gazzetta dello Sport, it makes me wonder as la Gazzetta are not reknown for being BS-Speculator specialists. They only report things that are credible. :lala::eekani:
Ronaldo To Milan Rumours Back In Full Force
12/24/2004 12:27:00 PM
Italian daily La Gazzetta dello Sport is reporting that Real Madrid might opt to sell Ronaldo to AC Milan in exchange for Gilardino. :dazed::eekani:
The man behind what would be an incredible deal, especially given Ronaldo’s Interista past, is Real Madrid’s new technical director Arrigo Sacchi.
Sacchi is a huge admirer of Gilardino, who he brought to Parma.
It appears the Rossoneri already have signed the Parma striker for next season, even though there is no official confirmation on this.
If the operation takes place, it will happen next June.
Presidente,
What's the scoop behind this? :stress::eekani:
Ronaldo may not be what he used to be, but still while being fat and lazy, there are few strikers better than him today. Only a handful to be exact.
He's a man tailor-made for the big games as he's shown it throughout his career that in the big games, he usually is present and makes an impact. I also admire a lot Gilardino as he is Italian, young and reminds me of a younger and overall better Pippo Inzaghi. But the thought of having a line made of Ronaldo and Sheva is simply too good to resist. Can you imagine Ronaldo having a hat trick in a future Derby?:jester::howler:
I'm confused. Royally. :stress::lala:
Cheers.
