i will struggle with this.
i havnt got any idea either yet. will need to think harder.
If you break 'party' down it becomes 'part y', and if there's a 'part y' there must also be a 'part x', which can be anything. Just take a picture of a gizmo or something. :)

Zico packs his camera into his work bag, hopes the beach will be crowded.

If your party pictures are soft enought for public viewing, then it wasn't much of a party :D
As the saying goes, never underestimate the serendipity of the Art Forum  (Eagerly awaiting kat's images.)

We like to party!

http://i.imgur.com/4koCB.jpg

Taken in New York's Metropolitan museum, as part of an exhibition on arts of Africa, Oceania, and the Americas. There is so much to see in that museum that you can spend several days there and you still wouldn't have seen everything. But when I saw this, I had to take a picture. There's something about these goofy creations that it immediately fills me with joy and makes me want to party.

Don Fanucci's last party

http://i.imgur.com/exZm4.jpg

It's one of the most famous scenes from The Godfather - Part 2, on the day of the San Gennaro festival a young Vito Corleone makes his way along the rooftops of Mulberry street, stalking Don Fanucci and ultimately making the festivities his last party.

Years later I found myself on Mulberry street, as the statue of San Gennaro was carried though Little Italy. And just as in the movie, people pinned money on the statue's sash. While all this was going on, the police had cordoned off the streets, so that the procession with the statue could move along uninterrupted. As soon as the statue had passed the side streets, the wooden barriers were removed and people could cross the street again.

Since it was my first time in Mulberry street, I wanted to see where it went, so I started walking in the same direction as the procession with the statue and soon enough I found myself walking right behind it, among people who in whatever capacity were involved with the procession itself. But the people in the street didn't know that. For all they knew I was part of the organization and they were waving and cheering in my direction and trying to give me high fives. After a brief moment of awkwardness I started waving back and shaking people's hands. It was at that point that one of the real organizers realized that I wasn't part of the show and instructed a cop to tell me to keep my distance. But for half an hour I was hailed as a hero by the good people of Little Italy.

Walking back to the subway I thought I saw someone move on one of the rooftops and I briefly hesitated before I walked down the stairs. But if along the way I had come across a loose light bulb, I certainly wouldn't have tried to screw it back in. ;)
