Heh :D .

Amazing stuff.

You guys can win Lo scudetto by taking care of business yourself, yet an uncanny percentage smells upsets at Delle Alpi and Olympico . A little insecurity creaping under the rug ;) ?

For what it's worth- I believe we will come down to the final day with the same point discrepancy intact. I think Inter will overcome Piacenza even if your starting strikers aren't confirmed, and Juve and Roma should be too strong at home for Brescia and Chievo.

If you do what's necessary at Olympico against Lazio- the title will deservedly be at Inter, if you don't- I think Juventus remaining fixtures will take Lo scudetto to Turin.

I won't have any nails left come May 5th- that's for certain.

Ciao.

Question...

Since so very few of you believe Juventus will beat Brescia, is that solely because of the "Baggio factor", or because half of you people, contrary to facts, plots down the game as Brescia-Juve when it is in fact to be played at Delle Alpi ?

One out of seven Inter fans think Juve is going to win a home game against 5th. from bottom Brescia... It just seems a bit weird to me ;).

Not saying it can't happen of course- it did last year, but really...

Ciao.

My money is on Juventus winning the scudetto. :)

Inter will NOT beat Lazio at Olimpico, I smell a draw:) BUT I see Juventus beating Udinese and winning the scudetto:)

Juventus: Scudetto winner 2001-2002:cool:

Juventus and Brescia to draw
The word from Brescia is that Roberto Baggio is expected to start the match on the bench so the appeal of a shock result at long odds is dampened. Make no mistake this is a hot match with Brescia needing the points to stay up and Juve chasing the title.

Brescia striker Luca Toni is tailor made to do well here, while he lacks pace his heading ability gives Carlo Mazzone’s side options on goal many would overlook. It’s worth remembering he scored twice for Vicenza against the Bianconeri last season at the Delle Alpi.

Roma and Chievo to draw
Chievo aren’t in any mood to lie down and do anyone a favour judged on their spirited performance against Inter last week so a draw can’t be written-off at 9/4 or bigger.

Roma’s current form isn’t strong stuff and the 0-0 draw at the San Siro masks the fact that Fabio Capello’s side had the better chances and failed to capitalise on their opportunities. With only ‘keeper Francesco Antonioli and defender Walter Samuel on song Roma looked anything but Scudetto chasers.

Inter to beat Piacenza
Using Juventus as the benchmark Inter have a slim advantage, which can only confidently be interpreted as a maximum of a single goal. That’s hardly a big enough edge to inspire confidence at long odds-on.

Without Ronaldo and Captain Javier Zanetti warning of unwanted signs of tiredness in the Inter camp those looking for a speculative interest might prefer to consider the 2-1 and 1-0 correct scores at 11/1 and 8/1 or aggregate odds of a little over 4/1. Those odds more than compensate for the risks involved.
