First game ended with a win for them in the Olimpico with a goal from Tavano. This seems to be lifetime away and things are completely the opposite of where they were at that time.

Ranieri gave the squad two day rest after Milan. Extra rest will be given to Derossi (who's still struggling with a nagging ankle bruise), Riise (who played every single game this season) and Taddei (looked like he was about to collapse with a heart attack againt Milan). Pizarro is expected to get back to 100% and Toni is also expected to regain full fitness and start.

On the other side, troubles for Livorno with some rumours about Cosmi being sacked sometime this week.

We've drawn the last three encounters away to Livorno, with our last win being in 2004! Nasty team with an old small ugly stadium.

Livorno recent home record:
vs. Siena L - 1:2
vs. Bologna L - 0:1
vs. Juventus D - 1:1
vs. Napoli L - 0:2
vs. Parma W - 2:1
vs. Sampdoria W - 3:1

Lost last two games but had a good run prior to that.

3 points. Be it 1-0 with a scrappy performance or 5-3 with an entertaining one. Just 3 points please :)

I am expecting big game from Toni hoepfully. This is the exact kind of games he was brought in for. Put him in the the box and keep crossing the ball at him right left up and down until he taps in that loose ball.. then 3 points thank you very much.

In order for that to work, we need players on the wings who can actually cross the ball effectively. No point sticking Toni in there and hitting ineffective crosses. That means no Taddei. Please play Menez instead, we will lose nothing defensively and its only Livorno, they are hardly a super attacking force.

Julio Sergio; Motta, Mexes, Juan, Riise; Menez, De Rossi, Pizarro, Perrotta; Toni, Vucinic;

Perrotta moved out to the left, but Riise to do most of the attacking and Perrotta to cover for him when he pushes forward, and also supply defensive support to De Rossi and Pizarro.

Could even play Brighi there, have three in midfield and Menez and Vucinic behind Toni.

Vucinic is out. How could that happen? How do you fcuking injure yourself in training?! Huge blow. Of course something will happen to ruin what seem to be perfect. I am speechless.

You got your wish - Menez is starting, here's the starting lineup:

ROMA (4-2-3-1): 27 Julio Sergio; 13 Motta, 4 Juan, 5 Mexes, 17 Riise; 16 De Rossi, 7 Pizarro; 11 Taddei, 20 Perrotta, 94 Menez; 30 Toni.

Let's get the win.

The two most critisized players lately getting their revenge, great pass by taddei to Perrotta for the goal.

A shame we conceded such a cheap goal and by this bitch Lucarelli of all people...
