if Inter don't get 3 points here, consider this run a crisis.

really would like to see Adriano, he has scored 3 goals for us and has 1 assist this season in 6 games played.

Vieira has played great, if he is healthy then he should play.
Stankovic, don't know he didn't do well against Fiorentina and question if he is healthy too.

Please no Obinna, he is too young and simply just not good enough yet.
Please no Crespo, he needs to join a smaller club

Mourinho names squad for Reggina v Inter
Friday, 31 October 2008 14:12:41
[FOTO Friday, 31 October 2008 14:12:41]

APPIANO GENTILE - José Mourinho has called up 20 players (3 goalkeepers, 8 defenders, 5 midfielders & 4 strikers) for Saturday's Serie A Week 10 match against Reggina at the Stadio Oreste Granillo (kick-off 18:00):

Goalkeepers: 1 Francesco Toldo, 12 Julio Cesar, 51 Vid Belec.

Defenders: 2 Ivan Ramiro Cordoba, 6 Maxwell, 13 Maicon, 16 Nicolas Burdisso, 25 Walter Samuel, 23 Marco Materazzi, 26 Cristian Chivu, 39 Davide Santon.

Midfielders: 4 Javier Zanetti, 5 Dejan Stankovic, 14 Patrick Vieira, 33 Amantino Mancini, 77 Ricardo Quaresma.

Strikers: 8 Zlatan Ibrahimovic, 18 Hernan Crespo, 21 Victor Obinna, 45 Mario Balotelli.

-------------------------

Adriano and Cruz not called up again, Mou really stamping down. Once again that midfield looks ridiculously thin (not like i expected anything to change overnight)

From Jose's press conference:

On the injury front, Mourinho explained why Esteban Cambiasso isn't among his call-ups for Saturday's clash in Reggio Calabria. "Psychologically he's ready but he will stay at home again tomorrow because I don't want to risk him. Vieira is fine, he played thirty minutes against Fiorentina and he can play tomorrow. In fact, instead of naming the starting goalkeeper like I have done in the last pre-match press conferences, I can tell you that Vieira will play from the first minute."
Materazzi is working well and Samuel, who hasn't played yet, is improving."

I prefer this....

JCesar
Maicon - Cordoba - Burdisso - Chivu
Amantino - Vieira - Stankovic - Maxwell
Ibrahimovic - Crespo

Rest JZ for this game.
I thought Crespo did somewhat better than the Wingers and Obinna.
If it is too early for his old bones, then Balotelli start.s

It seems that Mourinho has no faith in Mancini. Ok, he missed a chance against Fiorentina, but his movement and overall performance were decent IMO.

I also think he should play on the right in a 4-4-2, like he did with Capello.

Very Tough Calendar... The Anorthosis game can lead us to a more comfortable concentration on Serie A ., or the result can make us go Crazy in planning/rotating.

Therefore, the RISK of resting JZ should be done NOW for the game v Regg. A Strain can put him out. Apparently Cambiasso's strain comes from these Marathon Games for Club and country.

SHYYYYYYYYYTE

My Al-Jazira subscription ran out and I won't be able to renew it prior to the match as today's a vacation.. I'll have to watch the match out, then..

Oh well, if we manage to win then that would more than make up for everything. :hopeful: :hopeful:

If it's a choice betweem Mancini and Quaresma then Mancini should get the nod imho, he has contributed more so far.

Yawn, nice try though..

Latest Gazzetta's probs... it is 4-2-4

12 Julio Cesar

13 Maicon 2 Cordoba 26 Chivu 6 Maxwell

14 Vieira 4 Zanetti

77 Quaresma 8 Ibrahimovic 45 Balotelli 33 Mancini

424 or 442... a good common-sense move.. for having only 2 central mids.

We'll definitely get overrun with only Gramps and a tired Zanetti there.

This is worrying.

Regardless

Thanks for the tip...

I'll quickly try to swig a few beers so the game won't be totally unbearable...
