Carlos Alberto Parreira call the foreign based players to the match in Lima which could be tricky one for the penta champions.

The list will be completed with 5 players based in Brasil next week.

Keepers: Dida (AC Milán, Italia)

ZDefenders: Cafú (AC Milán), Belletti (Villareal, España), Lúcio (Bayer Leverkusen, Alemania), Juan (Bayer Leverkusen), Edmílson (Lyon, Francia), Roque Júnior (Leeds United, Inglaterra), Roberto Carlos (Real Madrid, España) y Júnior (Parma, Italia).

Midfielders: Emerson (AS Roma, Italia), Zé Roberto (Bayern Munich, Alemania), Gilberto Silva (Arsenal, Inglaterra), Juninho Pernambucano (Lyon), Kaká (AC Milán) y Ronaldinho Gaúcho (Barcelona, España).

Forwards: Ronaldinho (Real Madrid) y Rivaldo (AC Milán).

Peru's coach Autori also called the foreign based players.

Claudio Pizarro (Bayern Munich - Alemania)
Andrés Mendoza (Brujas - Bélgica)
Nolberto Solano (Newcastle - Inglaterra)
Martín Hidalgo (Saturn - Rusia)
Miguel Rebosio (Zaragoza - España)
Roberto Palacios (Atlas - México)
Jorge Soto (San Luis - México)
Roberto Silva (San Luis - México)
John Galliquio (Racing - Argentina)

Next week the remaining spots will be filled with local players.

Looks like an intresting one. I actually think that Peru can suprise Brazil. Mendoza, for exampel, is showing superb form in the Champions League. My grandfather was supposed to go to the match until he sufferd a heartattack this weekend. :depress: Abuelito, dios siempre esta a tu lado!

Yes, sorry about that Robban.

And yes, we might get the brazilian this time.
Tickets are already sold out for the Estadio Monumental, which is a jewel when it´s full.

The team and the whole people here are very enthusiastic.
And for once, we do have a more than decent couple of strikers.

Too bad midfielder Carlos Zegarra will miss it though. He´s very important in Autuori´s system.
But Ciurlizza is not bad.

Peru is confident of beating Brasil. If they had a better defense I would even put money on them. But not with that keeper and defensive unit.

Ronaldinho likely too miss the game also.
That is good news. Only thing is Kaká might play instead. :stress:

I agree. Perú really might beat them this time.
But defence must improve - fullbacks Soto and Hidalgo on their defending....

It´s a must-watch for neutral eyes I believe.

Cóndor - I think 80 000. That´s what "El Comercio" said.

And I was there. :) It was completely full.
