Emre and Servet trained with the team today.
Gokdeniz and Aurelio were with the physios.

Topal would probably replace Aurelio if he cant play.

Arda---Emre---Aurelio/Topal---???

Theres some competition for the right wing: Kazim, Serdar, Mehmet Topuz, Gokdeniz. (Judging by Terim's Euro 2008 player selections I would say Kazim will get the nod)

Arda what a player .. I love him, very good and a great futur to him.

But where is Atintop in your team ? he is OK for this game no ?

We need to stay calm this game. Armenia will probably play very aggressive, if we keep calm we´ll score couple of goals at the second half, if not a very though game awaits us.

He broke his foot before Euro 2008 in an international friendly, and missed a few months. He came back from injury at the start of Euro, but apparently wasn't completely healed, and after Euro he started having pains again.

Bayern Munich has recommended an extended rest for him, so he's out injured.

I like the formation (4-2-3-1). I would have Gokhan Gonul instead of Ibrahim Kas, Gokhan Zan instead of Polat and I would also switch Arda and Tuncay.

Yeah, Gökhan G. could play, i just prefer a more defensively stable right back this game. As for Gökhan Zan i really hope he wont play, his last game at BJK(Antalya) was a cathastrophy IMO.

There are two possibilities for this game, either we win 5-0 or we tie 1-1 or 2-2. And please no Colin-Kazim. Actually I do not want to see him ever step foot on a pitch with the Turkish flag on his uniform :yuck: If Mehmet Topuz plays he'll rip the Armenian defense into shreds and you add to that Tuncay, Arda, Emre, Nuri, Mehmet Topal,Semih, Volkan in net. This Armenian team is going to struggle badly this game.

Armenia is going to be very motivated (so should we). Things change when a team is motivated. There's going to be a lot of running, pressing and hard challenges. We need hard working players as Şeytan said. So basically if Kazim plays, we're ****ed on that right hand side.

Pretty much yes, he is just like Tuncay with a lot more brains. Should be playing on a better team with better players around him but his team Kayseri has put a high price tag on him.

Kazim sux, I can't stand him so does Aurelio..No offence but I just don't like turkish "naturalised" players....and I agree with people who thinks if Topuz plays, then will murk that defence..This game will be good!!!

It's not that he'll expose the Armenian defence, it's that he's a much more complete footballer than Kazim.

Mehmet Topuz works hard, he defends, attacks and links up with his teammates. Basically, he's a complete midfielder who can create chances, score goals and do his share of defensive work.

Kazim is lazy as we've been talking about already, and with him in midfield it's like playing with a man less. If a team works hard in midfield, they'll get the upper hand because Kazim doesn't help his team.

Mehmet Topuz does help his team, so if the opposition wants to take control of the midfield they won't do it just by working harder, they'll actually have to have more substance to their game.
