First of all Hagi's magic
Yeah you're right that was Dumitrescu.badanis said:BTW against Argentina in 94' that wasn't Hagi but Dumitrescu that took the shot.
Haha yeah it really was like that his shots were always going up and then going down very quickly in front of the goal so the keeper had no chance. Most shots are just straight and then the keeper can see it and do something about it, but with Hagi's shots they could see it but couldn't do something about it they just had to look to the balls going in. He must have been the nightmare of the Turkish goalkeepers.badanis said:The funniest thing about Hagi's goals is that most of the goal keepers he scored against were left with no chance so they didn't even bother try to make a stop they knew that Hagi was unstoppable...![]()
Yes his tricks and touches were great. On every aspect he was great. And i didn't mean he was the nightmare of only Turkish keepers but i said it because the videos are mostly from Turkey but offcourse he was the nightmare of every keeper he showed his qualities everywhere. That is also like you said a very good quality to be able to do that. And maybe the player with the best kick ever in football. Besides his golden left foot he could shoot great with his right foot also. He had fantastic technique, just like you said pure talent. And his creativity offcourse he was a smart player in the field. One of the best playmakers ever. And that left foot, pure magic. The kind of player that comes once in a lifetime. Yeah Hagi... i'm missing him on the pitch that's for sure!!GICA said:I love the Hagi´s goals, but for me Hagi will be always special due to his magic touches and tricks. Do you see what he does in the first video? or in the last one...He was pure talent. And the best of him it´s that he was able to do it in every game, even in a WC, or in the Euro or in the UEFA Cup final (where he ridiculed Vieira).
And he wasn´t only the nightmare of Turkish keepers. I´ve seen him scoring wonderful goals in Spain with R.Madrid and Barcelona. We are talking about one of the best left foot ever, without a doubt.
He also ridiculed Bergkamp in that game, when bergy was still at the top of his game - unbelievable!GICA said:or in the UEFA Cup final (where he ridiculed Vieira).
.
Yeah that's absolutely true, he was a little bit lazy on the field otherwise he could reach his full potential if he remained at Barca.lupisor lupetto said:Too bad he didn't reach his full potential, he could have been even greater.
No there are no highlights of that game, too bad cause i would really like to see them again.lupisor lupetto said:I know there are goals, but are there highlights of this game on the net?
