For everybody who lives in Canada and watched TSN's WC special preview, you'd see the Rauter picks us for the semi's.

I never considered Vic Rauter as all that knowledgable, but at least it's nice to hear somebody give us such high regard!

Ye i watched it too but in all honesty i think Vic Rauter is a budala/bufoooon if u will. He just picked us cz we did so great last time, why didnt he talk of us as a hugee surprise last WC? ALthough i doubt rauters intelect i stil comend him for picking us and it was nice to see our zastava up there under his piks , however im not doubting that we are a suprise as we have wat it takes to get far again.

I do have respect for Rauter because he does try so hard to understand the game. He's been covering football for TSN for a while now and he has improved.

He's a typical Canadian who just doesn't understand football, but he tries so hard and I'd still rather listen to him then Graham Leggat, that guy was hurtin and even though he was Scottish, he always seemed more English to me.

His prediction doesn't really mean much, but we're so used to having people say we're too old and not good enough that I just had to post this.

Proud to be Croat!

When watching TSN - World Cup, 2002, and seeing Hrvatska playing the best football in the world with other class teams, I fell so proud to be Croatian.

Ye i gotta agree.. goran's victory was one of the greatest gland slam victories of all time.. after losing his previous 3 he came out of the wilderness ranked 150+ to claim the title.. the final and the crowd were amazing & his tribute to petrovic was moving.. hes one hell of a character

It is a shame that Goran won't be defending his title at this years Wimbeldon. Looking back now, I still can't believe he actually won after all those times he lost in the final and like you said Marz, the tribute to Petrovic was all class.roud:

Janica's record breaking Olympic games was pretty good too...

Vic Reuter is one of the most annoying broadcaster's in soccer right next to Bobby Lenarduzzi. I remember the last time those to comented on a Brazil game they were calling Roberto Carlos by his number because they didn't know who he was.

I'm guessing Toronto's large Croatian population must have had some influence on him? Either that or he is trying to put "The Vic Reuter Curse" on Croatia.

yeah i was watching that preview at my house with a bunch of my Italian buddies they were all happy that all three guys saw Italy in the finals but i as well gotta give props to Vic for at least ackknowledging us as once again a "surprise team" oh well just seeing Jarni's celebration after his goal against Z Germans i felt the pride and emotion:fero: that can only be conjured up by us Croatians
