Draw against Frankfurt is a very decent result.
Most certainly. Eintracht were the most in-form squad prior to their loss to Werder Bremen last week, so a point in Frankfurt is a good result for VfB. If Stuttgart is my #1 team to follow in the Bundesliga, then Frankfurt is my #2 squad.
Eintracht have a nice attacking style. I would love to see Kostic and Jovic join VfB and play in the 2 spots just underneath the striker (3-4-2-1 formation, with 3 at the back). Those 2 have been the question mark for VfB this season. Lineup is pretty well set like this:
Kalajdzic (or Gonzalez when fit)
??-??
Sosa, Mangala, Endo, Wamangituka
Kempf, Anton, Mavropanos
Kobel
At ??-?? we have seen Castro, Klimowicz, Forster, Coulibaly, Thommy, Klement, Cisse, Massimo, and Churlinov. Matarazzo has yet to find the ideal duo for that position. He has played Forster there quite a bit lately, but Forster's performances haven't been too convincing. Coulibaly has great energy and so I like to see him start. Thommy has also impressed, but has been injury prone. So, Kostic and Jovic, IMHO, would be a great solution but I doubt that Eintracht would part with them.
