Thanks Rey/Cichero, great job on marking Forlan!!!! As always, Arango had to make things happen.

BTW, we got some really nice kits now.

The new kits totally SUCK! They look like training shirts or some 2nd division team uniform. They're not even vinotinto. They're freakin' RED! They were ordered to be made by Chávez. :yuck:

Let's see if Páez giving orders through the walkie-talkie gives us luck again.

I don't see why you can beat Chilie. Their home record is almost as bad as yours.

Plus when you play Brasil they will be safely qualified, so a point their isn't out of the question. You really should have beat us thow.

that's actually what annoys me right now. Colombia has already played with Argentina and Brasil the "ida" y "vuelta" and from those 4 games we achieved 2 points... now the rest of the teams will played with a "B" Argentina and Brasil  !! let's see how things go...I'm waitng for a couple of draws.

6.Chile 18 5 7 6 20-22 22
7.Venezuela 18 6 4 8 21-27 22
this portion of your supposed table is flawed. According to the results (actual and proposed), if these three countries were to finish up with the same amount of points the next criteria for a tie break is not point differential but points amongst the countries tied in points.

Colombia 0:1 Venezuela
Venezuela 0:0 Colombia
Venezuela 0:1 Chile
Chile 0:0 Colombia.
(proposed by latin lover)
Chile 1:1 Venezuela
Colombia 1:1 Chile

Chile 6 points.
Venezuela 5 points.
Colombia 3 points.

Thus your proposed table at the end of competition would look like this:

P W D L Gls Pts
1.Brazil 18 10 6 2 33-16 36
2.Argentina 18 10 6 2 31-17 36
3.Ecuador 18 9 3 6 28-20 30
4.Paraguay 18 7 5 6 23-25 26
5.Chile 18 5 7 6 20-22 22
6.Venezuela 18 6 4 8 21-27 22
7.Colombia 18 5 7 6 21-16 22
8.Uruguay 18 5 6 7 24-33 21
9.Peru 18 4 5 9 18-29 17
10.Bolivia 18 4 1 13 19-35 13

In all accounts, Venezuela would be out.

Chile should have scored 2 or 3 more goals according to Acosta .. (Por su parte, el DT de Chile Nelson Acosta afirmó que "se cumplió, pero me quedo con un sabor amargo, porque en los primeros 15 minutos del segundo tiempo teníamos que haber hecho dos o tres goles y se terminaba el partido".)

Of course..without Chamagol....Navia...Pinilla, Tapia..Quinteros....Salas ...What can you Xpect from a Team WITHOUT true Strikers ??? Get a life Mr Acosta..You SUCK !!!

9.Venezuela 15 4 3 8 16-23 15
10.Bolivia 15 4 1 10 17-30 13

No hope at all unless we beat Brazil.

This is bitter. Venezuela has been eliminated before, but not with posibilities like now, not with illusion, not with the people following the team every game.

It sucks to have your team eliminated from the World Cup. :frownani:

Actually, we still have mathematical chances if we win the 3 games we have left INCLUDING the one against Brazil IN BRAZIL and if a strange combination of results makes Colombia or Uruguay (or both) to finish even on points with us in the 5th place. In that case, the personal aggregate against any of them would make us go to the playoff against the aussies.

...Nah, forget it!
