Well he is an interesting story. For years he has been the best defender in Ukraine, amazing talent and one of the key's to Dynamo's run to the Champions League Semifinals. He was constantly rumored to go to one of the top European teams. However Dynamo didn't want there best defender to leave. Then two years ago he broke his leg and was out for a year. And last winter he was involved in one of the biggest scandals in Ukrainian Football history. After his injury was almost healed he announced that his contract with Dynamo was over and he is signing with Spartak Moscow(historically Dynamo's biggest rival and the most hated team). In the mean time Dynamo argued that he was still under the contract with them and Spartak would have to pay. There was a huge war between the clubs, but in the end Spartak paid some money and Dynamo let him go. The whole season he struggled and I don't think fully recovered from the injury. So Spartak put him transfer and now he is looking for a new club. When he was fit he played mostly as a last defender for Dynamo with his strengthes being the sense of position and the first pass.
So he basically screwed Dinamo over to join their rivals?
Bad move by him, that is something that is just not done, even if football is turning into business.
But as he's not in proper condition he's already been let go by Feyenoord with the advice to try again this summer.
A thread dedicated to the Ukrainian National Team!
Oleh Blokhin named his squad for the World Cup Qualification game against Turkey on November 17 in Istanbul.
Goaltenders: Shovkovsky and Reva
Defenceman: Fedorov, Nesmachny, Dmitrulin, Rusol, Matiukhin, Radchenko, Yezersky, Starostiak...
Spelt right ;)?
Anyway, have you on here any info for me?
We're playing Dnipro in the UEFA-Cup...
What kind of team is it? 'Counter-attackers?'
What are their supporters like, do they have some away-fans who're coming to Utrecht? Or not at all?
What's their main strenght?
I was wondering what happens to the points at the end of phase 1 of the Ukrainian Premier League. Are they maintained, will they be halved (like in Belgium) or do the teams start from 0 points again?
So i am Kleber, had to register again to return to the forum.
Well now the site is in a mess added this ukr forum had no activity for one month.
So maybe is better to put everything related to the 16/17 season in just one thread, national team, national competitions, european cups.
As with everything Ukraine, good news must be followed by bad:
First the good: Chudo will be allowed to play in Odessa again :musik:
Now the bad: absolutely shocking article on matchfixing
