FC Utrecht have agreed to work together with Internazionale, giving the Milan club the opportunity to give some of their younger players a taste of first team experience in the less demanding Dutch league.

Utrecht chairman Hanns Heuremans was cautiously optimistic about the move. "Rob Jansen, the advisor to FC Utrecht, brought that contract to life," he told Voetbal International. "Inter were looking at the possibility of letting one or two of their players ripen in an interesting competition."

He refused to be drawn on whether the deal will continue for more than the year that has already been agreed.

"Naturally, this could be very interesting for FC Utrecht but we want to look at it for one year. Whether the bonds between the clubs will increase and how will be the task of the new technical director," he said.

The first result of the deal is the arrival at the Dutch club of the Inter defender Guiseppe Imburgia, according to the FC Utrecht webpage...
