It's in Kaiserslautern. It'll be interesting to see how the USA does, this Poland team is very different from the one we faced before.

I think, that like Bruce, WE have to focus on OUR own team, OUR strengths/weakness.

The roster will be out WED, 22/2 .We may see Jay DeMerit (Watford). He is getting high praise from his manager, who is directing Bruce to give the young man a taste of international ball. I hope WE get to see him.

It would make sence to make this an all European squad considering the number of boys WE have playing in Europe, and the number of games the MLS boys have already played. I would hope Bruce give the fringe players, like DeMerit, Simek, Philipakos even Ian Joy a chance. It will be interesting to see whom he picks.

I still am pissed that Saganowski isn't in the squad for Poland.

From the list, I would say that it's weeding out time. Absolutely NO NEW FACES, especially DeMerit, Philipakos or Simek.

The central D is interesting. Considering that Pope and Conrad are not included, WE still have Berhalter, Bocanegra & Onyewu vying for spots. Lewis is listed as a defender and will likely start at left back.

Convey in listed as midfielder, will he play? Depending on the formation, where Bruce puts Donovan & Beasley, if he plays, will determine where everyone else fits into the puzzle. Keller in goal, of course ...

p.s. Noonan injured hamstrings in CCC match v. Alajuelense, so he won't be going. He should be healthy for the match on the 22nd, which is slated to be an ALL MLS affair.

Roster breakdown ...

Goalkeepers: Tim Howard (Manchester United, England), Kasey Keller (Borussia Moenchengladbach, Germany)

Defenders: Gregg Berhalter (Energie Cottbus, Germany), Carlos Bocanegra (Fulham, England), Steve Cherundolo (Hannover 96, Germany), Todd Dunivant (Los Angeles), Eddie Lewis (Leeds United, England), Oguchi Onyewu (Standard Liege, Belgium), Jonathan Spector (Charlton Athletic, England)

Midfielders: DaMarcus Beasley (PSV Eindhoven, Netherlands), Bobby Convey (Reading, England), Clint Dempsey (New England), Landon Donovan (Los Angeles), Pablo Mastroeni (Colorado), Kerry Zavagnin (Kansas City)

Forwards: Eddie Johnson (Kansas City), Brian McBride (Fulham, England), Taylor Twellman (New England), Josh Wolff (Kansas City)
