If Chiesa doesn't start when the games actually count, then Mancini is an idiot. I actually think all three subs worked well, but it was hard to not improve on the performances of the players he took out.
A scandalous decision for the penalty-kick which was actually a brilliant tackle and Poland would have won comfortably otherwise.
I think Italy played better under Ventura, they were that poor this evening, endless basic technical mistakes, no passing movements, aimless crosses etc.

Pirlo is obviously talking out of his arse. The foreign players play if they are better than the Italian ones.
Anyway, lineup for tonight: Donnarumma - Lazzari, Caldara, Romagnoli, Criscito - Cristante, Jorginho, Bonaventura - Zaza, Immobile, Chiesa
I'm not sure it's a 4-3-3 the way gazzetta tells us, with Zaza on the right flank of the attack. Maybe it's a 4-4-2 with Chiesa on the line of the midfielders.
Nice to see Zaza back, but indeed, not sure how helpful he would be on the right, especially since there is no right midfielder and the right back is a guy I've never heard of before.
