He is exhausted, carrying small niggle and this is not the most important match. The important one comes in the weekend against Villareal where we would need him more.

The team never knows what to do when a match starts and starts to wake up after 30 minutes. This has been the case for the last few matches. Thankfully Liverpool did not do much damage apart from the first goal and allowed us to start participate in the match.

I think it is because he was playing in the last few matches and Aguirre wanted to bring in his rotation policy. He will be back in the bench for Villareal and probably have some minutes too.
