Makalele is awesome when he's at his best, and most of the time he still is. With his experience and big match play he's definitely ahead of Mikel. I like Mikel a lot, and his physical attributes would cause Man Utd different problems, but I feel very comfortable with Maka doing what he does

nah i doubt he will change the shape to 4-4-2 in such a big game...but could send shevy for cole if things go bad......in fact cole has been mediocre for the last 5-6 games and in my eyes doesnt deserve a first 11 place...molouda at least played well last 3 games...

I don't think he comes in with an agenda, he'll be fair and do the best job possible. It's a big prestige to referree a European Final.

I think John Terry will play. There's a video on uefa.com of Chelsea training, and Terry is doing some drills with only a thin bandage around his elbow. Lets hope for the best.

I'm really shocked about Joe Cole. He just completely burnt out the last month of the season. Did you guys notice how heavy his legs looked? :moan: I thought that he would prosper on the big stage but he just ran out of gas.
